Buffs and nerfs are tools in the toolbox. Where nerfs are a hammer, typically very few of the problems with a game are nails. Arrowhead, in all their incompetence, pull out the hammer anyways. They see things that are "overused" in game, and treat this as a nail, to be beaten mercilessly into the wall. The few viable options are brought down to the same level as the massive heap of already useless guns/stratagems, and the only people who are pleased (and apparently the only people AH listens to) are the sweaty masochists who swarm to defend every bad decision. It's a skill issue, we're told.

In its current state, do not buy this game. It is not fun, not as it was months ago, and the devs seem wholly committed to keeping it that way. I love this game, I love what it used to be and what it *can* be, and hope to see it improve.
