After falling back in love with CS again after CS2 launched, the game has gotten more and more unstable with each update. Every bugfix spawns 5 more ridiculous bugs and it feels like Valve don't have a QA team working on this game at this point. The latest ridiculous bug is now kicking players from competitive games for 'teamkilling' when they're really killing the enemy players. It sounds made up but this is a real bug. Unfortunately it's just one of many introduced in the latest patch. Other gems include grenades sticking in thin air and extreme lag when scoping. All this in a minor patch! You can only begin to imagine how many 'features' they cram into the major patches,

The ranking system is borderline unplayable, if you try to queue with mixed elo friend groups the outliers will get shafted as the ranking system will essentially try very hard to equalise everyone to the same rating over time. Similarly bad players will obtain astronomical ratings by playing with 4 friends. In a game where no one's rating even remotely reflects their skill, good luck finding balanced matches. Not to mention that since the game is still horribly unstable you're going to be playing a decent number of matches 4v5 as your teammates will crash out the game and occasionally not be allowed to reconnect to the server.

After losing 4 matches in a single sitting to having teammates who are AFK, teamkilling, crashing repeatedly, being kicked for "teamkilling" when not actually teamkilling, or a combination of these, I've decided not to waste anymore of my time on this game and have uninstalled, gg volvo. Maybe catch you for CS3 but I doubt it.
