The first good Sonic game. Play it with a controller.

If you are a person who wants to spend your life creating things or thinking about things others have created, play this game. Definitely the best "walking simulator" game out there. The game had a major impact on me.

It's like Myst but running in full 3D on a modern engine. This is good.

Starbound has grown a lot since early access. The game that I once stopped playing because it didn't have enough to do now has almost too much to do. I mean that when I say it; there is a LOT to do in this game. The game's biggest strength is the quantity and variety of stuff to do. That can leave it feeling a little bit unfocused, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you come just looking for a big universe to play around in, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That being said, as of the release of 1.0 Starbound feels shockingly buggy for what is ostensibly a finished product. I've crashed and lost my ship, having to cheat in some debug items to upgrade it to the point where it will even respond to me. As long as you pay attention to the backup saves that the game keeps along with your standard ones, there's nothing that puts too big of a damper on the experience.

Game is good.

This is a niche product. It's certainly not for everyone. If you're looking to be competitive in games like Conuter-Strike or Dota, then a mouse and keyboard are certainly going to be better. The controller has quite a learning curve to it. You're not going to just pick it up and immediately be as comfortable with it as you are with whatever controller you're used to.

That being said, if you put the time in to learn how to use it, and configure it to your liking, the Steam Controller is by far the best controller out there. The pads are comfortable and precise, and you can lounge on a chair or a couch and just play some games.

If you're willing to spend some time learning how to use it, I highly reccommend the Steam Controller.

Her Story shows that games can serve to make a linear story unravel in a way that a movie or book either couldn't achieve, or would have a lot of trouble pulling off. The player interacts with the game by typing in keywords in interviews with a woman, and as you reveal more clips, more things will be mentioned to be looked into. I never found myself without a new term leading to a revelation, and despite the low interactivity, the experience made me feel more like a detective than anything else I've ever played.

While it doesn't necessarily take advantage of all the interactivity games provide (really it's just a chopped-up set of clips from some longer videos), it's still a damn good experience that wouldn't be nearly as good without the "unraveling" quality the keyword-searching provides.

This is a game that's really best played without any spoilers. Don't even read the description.

Beyond that. This is one of the very few games that has gotten me to actually laugh, and simultaneously one of the very few games that has gotten me to actually tear up.

Play. It.

Pretty much fixes the major problems with the game. Fun RTS, as stated by a dude that usually doesn't like RTS.

Reseña de acceso anticipado
I enjoyed Frozen Synapse, but couldn't really get into it. This was mostly because of the ridiculous amount of fiddling with orders needed to be efficient. Frozen Endzone has solved this problem, mostly because all your characters are only really useful while holding still. As much as Frozen Synapse before it wasn't a shooter, Frozen Endzone isn't a sports game. It's a turn-based tactics game, and the best damn one I've ever played.

Little Inferno is a cute little art game that ends up presenting itself as a criticism of many free to play systems, specifically games that use systems similar to Farmville, where you must pay extra for them to not waste your time. The gameplay is simple: burn things. You are presented with a toybox of items from the catalog to burn, and sometimes when you burn particular things together, you can unlock more stuff. How exciting.

The game starts to redeem itself in the last couple minutes, where the “gameplay” switches styles completely and the game makes its point, but by then it’s far too late. You’ve already spent far too long mindlessly burning things to really care anymore. Little Inferno is what happens when you take World of Goo and remove the gameplay, and it certainly isn’t worth $10
