Tactical Breach Wizards is one of those "install and don't stop playing for about 10 hours until my brain is leaking out of my ears" games.

so fun. story/writing is good, tactical combat puzzles are very fun to figure out. highly recommended. congrats to the devs for making such a great game :)

The Rat Zone dares to ask the question "what if sonic the hedgehog was, instead of a hedgehog, a chair(?) existing in a world built around vaguely occult 90s internet aesthetics?" The result is a fun little speedrunning game.

It does suffer from some of the same things that often pull down other 3D speedrunning games like this - the controls feel very weird at first, and the game has a tendency to just kill you sometimes if you hit a piece of geometry wrong or fail to correctly interpret where the level designer wants you to go (a task that isn't made any easier by the, let's say "busy" aesthetic). At least dying doesn't result in much loss of progress (except for on the deeply frustrating final level).

Still, a somewhat steep learning curve is kind of part of the deal for a game that seems focused on being mastered and speedrun through repeat playthroughs. And when you *are* able to get going fast and moving smoothly around the level, it definitely feels good.

The aesthetic is also fun. I'm a big fan of the weird 90s website gif vibe it's got going on.

Overall, solid little bit of replayable fun for the 5 dollars at stake.

Please play Ghost Trick, it's so good. If "puzzle adventure visual novel" interests you *at all* just give it a shot and go in blind. Play the demo first if you want, the progress carries over into the main game.

One of my favorite mystery stories for sure.

If "rhythm game spectacle fighter" means anything to you and sounds at all appealing, you should definitely play this game.
