Ummm, for you, I would say hold off until they finally add a tutorial for your first run through. Right now you need to watch a 20m youtube video to get the mechanics down before you can play. I know you hate that stuff for paradox games. That's pretty much the only negative of the game right now as far as reviews go. People thing the beginner phase is rough then the game runs and plays like butter. It's super fun, and I can see myself logging a ton of hours in.

Picked it up day 1, already spent a good 100 hours in it easy over the past 3 years so it was a no brainer.

Yep, they have included a fantastic voice tutorial that you can turn on to different levels total beginner being one of them. Sort of reminds me of the microsoft paperclip. Also they specifically made this game not wanting players to have to spend 10 hours on youtube to know what they were doing.
