This is a must have for Terminator 1 and 2 fans. Absolutely fantastic. The future wars have never looked more graphically pretty and it's got loads of fan service and references to T1 & T2. It's a game that feels like the developers are actually fans of the franchise and wanted to give it a proper video game entry.

It's not groundbreaking gameplay but it's the universe it's in and I had loads of fun with it.

The game is grindy and not really worth it at full prices but the story is quite good. After finishing most of the game and playing some DLC(that all should have been included in the base game) I want a game focused mainly on Lincoln Clay's CIA contact John Donovan. I won't spoil it but his character's ending was probably my favorite part of the game and makes me want an entire game devoted to John Donovan hunting down the rest of the corrupt criminals and politicans involved with the conspiracy he discloses knowledge of at the end of the game. I want more stuff willing to muck about with conspiracy theories in the vain of Deus Ex(this game doesn't do that, there is not prediction of the plutocracy, corporate tax decrease etc but it does include a popular conspiracy at the end.) Also after playing the Stones Unturned DLC you really start to see(minus the turret sections that exist far too often) the game Hangar 13 likely wanted to make and I think they should dive fully into this but perhaps under a different title set in the same universe.

longish TL:DR: It's got a good story, some voice acting from Joey Diaz as The Butcher and a little dash of conspiracy thrown in at the end to some cool music. Albeit it could run and look better it's still quite fun. The story is what really holds the game together. Half Life 2 did facial animation better though so this part was just confusing(Not Mass Effect Andromeda bad but bad for the year it was released in). Would like to see a game focused on the CIA Agent.

A lot better now. Legacy is still unavailable but the base game is still good. Finally has vehicles like horses, boats and hot air balloons and it makes the game a lot more fun.

This version is far superior to the mod and a must have for fans of HL/Singleplayer FPS.


Wow. Having only played Half Life source and never the original Half Life 1 I had a lot of fun revisiting this title with updated graphics, sounds and the like. It so fun. Also whose idea was it to put a computer, phone etc in one of the random boxes after Unforseen Consequnces I know its just a computer and phone model inside of a box buts thats what would actually be in there. Not guns or ammo because I don't think the majority of the facility knew what was about to happen. Amazing and if its onsale I am going to be asking you WHY HAVEN'T YOU PICKED THIS? Its HALF LIFE a PC ESSENTIAL and single player fps(my favorite type of game currently) with NO MICROTRANSACTIONS, SEASON PASSES or any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. and they cut that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a rail level to make it easier(pissed me off a lot on hl1) wish they'd add a option to playthrough the game w/o any cut content but thats just me. This game has time, effort and hard work put into to give it the HL1 feel I think the devs did a great job and buying the game gives them money so maybe we will get Xen sooner. Aweseome overall but one question: how come when i break a box it appears like ive also broken a vent? keeps making me think I missed secret ammo etc.

Wow. Thats my reaction so far into this game. It is amazing. The gun play, the weapons, the new Lazer weapon. Easily can get many hours out of this game with yet to be released DLCS two playthrough options(like in the first game which may lead to some slight misson/gameplay changes). No Microtransactions. I miss the good old days when you bought a game for $60 and you got the game not some half assed piece of ♥♥♥♥ with microtransactions and parts of the game chopped off to be sold to you again as DLC. Thankfully Wolfenstein II doesn't partake in the usual games industry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This game is a very serious contender for GOTY.

Overpriced and has a lacking amount of players in the online modes due to its high price.

Negative review because they removed the swastika from Kino Der Toten entirely. It was called NAZI Zombies. It's a shame but at least we still have Wolfenstein.

EDIT: While I may be able to overlook the the removal of the Swastika in order to play the remastered maps one thing I cannot overlook is how the DLC is broken, half baked "poorly ported" to black ops 3. Origins is the worst offendor in my experience with it basically being nearly unplayable but the game has crashed at least one time on every Chronicles map.

So I had a big long review here but at this point the game just sucks don't buy it

still sucks but might be worth it on sale.
