전작들에서 보여주었던 세밀한 유닛 디테일들도 사라지고
불리한 전황을 뒤집어 볼 수 있게, 혹은 잡은 승기를 강건하게 굳힐 수 있는 키 역할을 하던
강력한 슈퍼탱크 유닛들도 없고 웅장한 오케스트라 BGM들도 온데간데 없어졌다

상대팀과 우리팀이 팽팽하게 반반을 가져가는 상황에서
어떻게든 가운데 혹은 사이드 빅포를 먹기 위해

서로 별 달린 베테랑 보병들을 갈아넣어가며 레슬링을 하고
쓸 수 있는 가용 자원들을 한계까지 쥐어짜내며 포격을 퍼붓고
연막과 수류탄을 던지며 공중호출을 부르고, 콜인 유닛들을 호출해가며 땅 한뼘을 점령하고
지키기 위해 죽을 걸 알면서도 밀어넣으며 처절하게 싸우는 와중에

울려퍼지는 음악과 총성과 포성, 빅포가 없다고 유닛이 죽었다고 다그치는 오퍼레이터의 음성, 악에 받친 전투병력들의 고함소리와 비명소리들이 조화를 이루어내는 합주는
아드레날린을 솟구치게 하여 게임 한판이 끝나고 나면 심장이 뛰는 것이 느껴질 정도였다

이번 작품에서는 그런 몰입을 한번도 겪어보질 못했다

The detailed unit intricacies shown in the COH1,2 are gone
There's no longer a powerful super tank unit that played a key role in either turning the tide of a disadvantageous battle or solidifying a hard-won advantage
The grand orchestral BGM has also disappeared

In situations where both teams are evenly matched, each taking half the map,
both sides would wrestle to capture the victory points in the middle or on the sides

Sacrificing veteran infantry with stars
Squeezing out every available resource to launch artillery strikes
Throwing smoke and grenades, calling for air support, and bringing in call-in units
Fighting desperately to capture and hold even an inch of ground, knowing they would die

The harmony of the music, gunfire, and explosions
The operator's voice criticizing for losing units without securing victory points,
and the desperate shouts and screams of the units
All combined to create a symphony that made your adrenaline surge,
making your heart pound by the end of the game

In this COH3, I have never experienced such emotion.
