... I really only play counter-strike. But what helps me is a combination of the follwing: get involved with the surroundings (let it seem real no matter how cheezy it looks), buy armor, focus on the crosshairs, always aim for the head, and wait for the cross hairs to get tight before firing. Try it. Let me know if that works.
