So this game is absolutely pay to win which I do not like at all. While there are f2p players that can hit rank 1, it takes a huge grind and effort which does not seem worth it. I've come close to quiting this game for various reasons. For one the game isn't that fun to play, it is just ok. Secondly, I did not like how the developers handled the whole Fog of War situation. At times the game is poorly translated for some of the dialogues in different quest events. The game is poorly balanced, with the newer cards being ridiculously op a lot of times. I know this happens with a lot of these type of games but not quite like this. You would need to keep up with the newest cards that are out to stay at rank 1, once you obtain any card they all work on levels, so you need to keep leveling them up and then you can even "reborn" a card at a few specific levels for permanent stats but it reverts the card back to level 1. It really screams pay to win. The battlefield is randomly generated, at times you will be at more of a advantage/disadvantage depending on what is on each side of the field. I actually don't mind how this is done even though I've seen people complain about it.

When the guild function was added it made the game a little more enjoyable for me being able to help my guild with my troops in turf wars even though there isn't too much involved with it. I generally do my daily stuff on this game and log off. I never put a dime in this game and I don't plan to. I have 3 dlc's I obtained for free which helped me a small amount starting out.

Just be warned the greed from the developers becomes pretty evident very early on. Everything is overpriced. I wish steam had more rating options beside for yes and no. I really want to click no but I'm going to click yes. The game is ok but don't expect to climb near the top anytime soon unless you are a cash cow for this game. I'd certainly recommend a game like Minion Masters over this.

There is a much better job done balancing the units now. I still don't enjoy the game that much however it can be easy enough to put on the auto battle option and do something else on your pc while the fights commence.
