Upgrades have a tangible effect on how your guns work and how you play

The platforming and the combat are both fun, with a bunch of different moves that you can thread together in different ways. The hub area is packed with cool things to look at, and with collectables that you need finesse to reach. There's a variety of enemies that each have strengths and weaknesses, and there's even an interesting boss at the end of the demo.

Actually not dull. More like "Neat and Thought Provoking" Acres

The good: There's a decent variety in drinks, ingredients, and tasks. The gameplay is fun without being too stressful.
The bad: I have a lot of trouble with the mouse gestures for special actions, especially when throwing a bottle to break up a fight
The ugly: I was so focused on the virtual drinks that I knocked my real drink over and spilled it on my computer

I think every election should be decided like a reality tv show

Fun platformer, with a solid, flexible moveset that you can master throughout the game. Levels introduce mechanics that interact with the yo-yo in unique ways. There's a sort of self-selecting difficulty level, where you can either slowly and carefully make it through levels, or push yourself to go faster, do more optional challenges, and aim for a high score. Music, art, and level design are great.

There were a couple of bugs, but most of them are small and ignore-able. There is one where the game will feel like it's running in slow-mo if you leave the frame rate uncapped, but it's fixed by just picking a reasonable target rate.
