I used to play the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of this game back in the day, however, what was once an UNREAL grind fest has now become an itemshop purchase fest. Do you want to run faster? - buy boots from the itemshop. Tired of dropping items and want to make easy money? - buy a yang bundle from the itemshop. Do you want to level up faster? - buy an experience ring from the itemshop. Do you want to have a better chance of upgrading your items? - buy this item from the itemshop. Now obvioulsy some of these items were in from the start and you can play without spending a dollar, but there is no point in doing anything in this game, since you can buy ingame money... You used to spend hours and hours dropping items just to make a portion of what your sword costs or leave the PC on for a week straight so that people buy your stuff from your store. The game itself has a decent combat concept for its release time, however that is countered BY INSANE AMOUNT OF BUGS, that are in the game since the early days. If youre new to this and want to try it out, dont even bother. The steam launch did not change anything except that you dont need to create an account on their website. This game is a pure nostalgia bomb for people who were dumb enough to sink into it when it released.
