Full disclosure: I got access to Resonite a week early.

Right now, it's Neos without any crypto junk, better lighting, and a new scripting system that has backwards compatibility with Neos scripting for imported content only. Most of the UI and content is currently imported from Neos, but now that the team isn't blocked from working on it because of legal issues, it is being actively worked on.
