The game isn't even out yet. People are giving negative reviews on a day -6 patch. Go touch grass, TEST DRIVE IS BACK BABY

Listen, I'm not even close to finishing this. But Equitia is a literal dream wife. I'm in love. Recommended for the goddess.

Edit #1: Yes, I'm going to edit this as I keep playing it. No, it isn't going to change from recommended because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is this game incredible.

The Forgotten City is essentially the thinking man's Uncharted. Some call it a walking, talking simulator of simulators. Make no mistake, you will kill things, people, and things get incredibly dark. I've just completed one of the multiple endings, the one that they expect you to find first. No problem. But, the game shows you you can do better. It is NOT over when you finish the game for the first time, no matter what it tells you. Reload your last save, and get back to it. At this point, I've dumped maybe 5 hours into this game and the voice acting, story telling, gameplay, everything has absolutely catapulted this game to my top games list. It's so hard to discuss the game without spoiling it, but I'll be back in later edits to express more praises and hopefully criticisms of the game as well.

Edit #2: I just finished my second ending of the game and I'm working on the third (these can all be completed in succession and do NOT require you to completely restart the game to get them). This game blows my mind even more now. Forget what I said about Uncharted, this is ARK levels of lore going on here.

Edit #3: Canon ending achieved, don't cry... don't cry...

MSFS literally changed my life. I had zero interest in aviation as a hobby or career before this. I decided why not? Let's see what keeps these flight sim nerds coming back to these games over and over and over again. I decided to try my hand at the training portion of the game and see if I could get the highest passing grade on all of it (A). I did. So I thought to myself, why not go see how this applies to the real world? I'm now balls deep in PPL training in real life and this simulator kick started all of that. This is the closest thing you'll get to flying real planes in real places short of really doing it.

An absolutely whimsical and monstrously packed game. Performance pre-launch day left some things to be desired (I haven't tried the day one patch as of this review), but the game itself is my childhood dream come true. I've loved every second of it so far. It's gorgeous.

I gave the mostly negative reviews the benefit of a doubt and downloaded this.
It'll only launch in SteamVR mode, has ZERO graphics settings, and plays like it was released yesterday in alpha, not three years and had time to be polished. Skip it, go try something else for your Home fix. Nebula Realms looks promising, as does Avilife when either of those two finally release on PC.

Absolutely fantastic RPG. I'd put this in my top 5 for favorite RPGs/Futuristic games. When it first launched, it ran like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It seems to have been polished up now. I played through the story mode trying to do every single mission and explore everything on the hardest difficulty and got around 30 hours out of it, before New Game + (which I'm currently starting). While it's not Assassin's Creed Odyssey long, the story and the gameplay will keep you hooked to the end, especially if you're someone that enjoys immersion and freedom of choice.

For those who are having trouble starting the game on Windows 10:
Completely close out Steam. Kill it in task manager.
Run Steam as Admin.
Start L.A. Noire.

What's happening is the Steam package for the game isn't being run as admin when you click play, and it isn't able to properly install. Running Steam as Admin fixes this.

This fixed the problem I was having where clicking Launch Game from launcher resulted in the window closing and nothing happening with no errors.

Positive review because people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about DRM instead of actually reviewing the game. Fight fire with fire.

I think the game is absolutely massive. Massive amounts of fun, massive amounts of things to do, massive map, massive men that bash your head in, massive cities, massively big pyramids, MASS.

This is the sequel to Black Flag everybody has wanted, whether their version of IV included boats or not. You're missing out by skipping this entry.
