The synergizing, stacking items of Risk of Rain. The unique gun affixes, skill trees, and builds of Borderlands. The randomized level crawling, steady progression between runs, weapon/item unlock system, and general roguelite style of Dead Cells.

This game has massive potential, especially with such dedicated devs that listen to the community. I loved every second I spent playing it!

Bonus: You play as a cat or doggo.

A near-infinite amount of ♥♥♥♥ to do in this game. Beautiful music, beautiful graphics and landscapes, awesome looking gear. The trials and raids are amazing as well: coupling fun mechanics and awesome music makes a great experience. The beginning ~30 levels are very slow, but if you slog through it it definitely gets good, even more so in Heavensward and Stormblood. A lot of my friends didn't have the attention span to get through it, but the ones who did love the game now. Oh and great community btw.
