On Normal, you can pretty much just run past everyone and focus on your main targets. You'll fight through 3 levels, and if you want to replay the last level on Hard you're free to use the ingame cheat to unlock level select. You get unlimited slowmo so it's no trouble getting behind someone and sinking your teeth into their neck. The levels can be pretty long but there are plenty of checkpoints. It does suck when you eliminate all your targets and then die before you get to the next section. I enjoyed the story and the dialog, and I hope the series gets revived in the future. It's been enhanced for modern systems, but I wish it would have been more compatible with my integrated graphics.

It's a fun time. You bounce back and forth between melee fights and harpooning cars. The story lets you sprint through it really fast and you can grab stuff along the way or wait until its over to run around the map. Holding onto my scrap was easy and then I started making a ton when I wanted to upgrade. It's a mid-range open world, you get plenty of fast travels. I only had to use a guide a few times, nothing tricky.

Playing on Goblin difficulty was a fun challenge. There are no saves and when you die you have to restart the level. I don't think you can quit and continue, I think you have to make it in one go. You'll be using every ammo and hp pickup you can find. Projectiles will hit you, there's no way around it. Achievements were a mix of level completion and a few secret locations. You'll need 2 playthroughs and the last level might break you on the hardest difficulty. If you try to run past enemies they'll follow you wherever you go, even if they're packed inside a car and you go inside a building!

I appreciate the texture and I applaud the effort. I knew what to expect but I was hoping it'd be more than a Q1 reskin. The enemy types are virtually identical. Same attack patterns and very similar looking models, which is fine I suppose. Levels were mostly 2 or 3 minutes long, and I didn't need to find many secrets to survive on the hardest difficulty. Definitely crank it up because you'll turn the corner and enemies will all be facing away from you and won't be alerted until they're already basically dead. It didn't feel like much of a fight. Finding keys is fun but I wish there were more pressure plates and switches to activate. The arsenal is fun even if I mostly stuck to 3 weapons. All in all, I came for more id levels with achievements and this scratched the itch. Now when someone at work asks me what I'm playing I can say the whole 23 word title.

It's at its best when the action is flowing. I liked the levels and had fun binding the weapons and abilities like it was a Quake setup. Upgrading was easy too and even on hard I only had to make a few changes every other chapter. I left a lot of health and skill upgrades on the table before finishing the story, and I managed ok. Some of the side bosses were more of a challenge than the main boss.

There's too much storytelling. You loose control of your character a lot. It has life but I lost immersion when everyone started talking slang. I came for the magic but this was missing a lot of texture.

You're going to absolutely hate the FOV, it maxes out at 90, but you can change GameUserSettings.ini to use vertical values.

No chapter select, there is NG+. Some missable collectibles, the rest you can revisit after the story. Also some missable achievements but with a guide you can plan ahead. Save files are in Local appdata. You'll need another pass to get 1300 kills.

My gpu is slightly above minimum, and for the most part there were zero problems during gameplay, but it absolutely CHUGGED in the open spaces. Everything was on low and it would dip to single digits immediately. The lava level was a nice setting.

Did I really just play an FPS with zero explosive barrels?? No environmental destruction. Hiding behind a solid object on bosses was easy. There's mild platforming with a leash.

I forget the reasons and some of the motivations but I followed the plot most of the way. I tapped out somewhere in the last half.

It's about a step above Redfall. Taking control away from me and making me watch another cut scene was annoying. Not being able to mark a location on your map was also super annoying. The lady from Suits is so one dimensional, nothing was memorable.

It's another nice entry from the DevCats, but there are a few things I wish they would improve.

There's no map letting you know what's been finished. Going to the elevator, into each persons apartment, and then into each side room was too many clicks (not to mention each apartment's secret level). I kept expecting right-click to quickly go back a room but it kept bringing up a different screen. The delete and backspace keys didn't work either. The new mini games were ok. I'm glad they included an accessibility feature in case you just wanted to finish and move on.

I like the content, I like that it takes me a while to finish, but whatever we can do to eliminate as many transition screens as possible would be really appreciated.

Something lightweight when you want to run, jump and stabby-stab but don't want the scope of a mainline AC game. I know it's a PSP port and I really didn't mind the low fidelity. Only 1 mission gave me issues trying to 100% sync but retrying later with a full inventory was a piece of cake. You should get most collectibles along the way, very little cleanup post credits.

I was dumb and didn't realize this was included for free when you buy Assassin's Creed III Remastered.

Mines are going to wreck your life. On Hard, you'll probably need to find a few extra lives to get through Jabba's Ship. I needed 4 for the last level. Even when things went south I still wouldn't change the save system. Lives and no saves makes the difficulty satisfying. Your tears keeps me hydrated. To be fair, the respawns can be pretty cheap and spawn you right on top of enemies. Even so, I'm glad I got to play this with all the QOL improvements and graphic enhancements. "There he is! Stop him!"

Short and fun arcade racing. The tracks evolve the further you progress. You're either racing against other cars doing laps, or doing one long continuous run, or against yourself and the clock. Some of the time trials in the later stages are super strict with basically no room for error. One if not two races you'll definitely need to look up a shortcut because without it you'll be 5 seconds behind. I wish more races had cool shortcuts, but there are checkpoints all over the track you have to pass through otherwise you respawn. I felt my adrenaline spike multiple times.

It's pretty fun drifting into a crowd and bumping cars over the edge and off the track. You'll definitely get turtled at some point, so don't even worry about when it's your turn.

On some tracks you'll end up driving upside down and have to rotate mid air to right yourself when landing. Another track you'll need to pitch downwards while coming over an incline. Not too many course obstacles, but the spider traps got me almost every time and I didn't learn how to escape it consistently until the very end. I'd say about 80% of each track has walls on the sides so bumping into everything can be forgiving.

Starting with all the DLC cars was nice and definitely felt like cheating. At the end I definitely favored a car with plenty of boost.

If you're in a rush you can grind the rest of the coins and gears with 2 people boosting online, there's a track that's a straight line and you just have to wait 20 seconds before crossing the finish. After completing the campaign, it took me maybe 3 hours with a friend going back and forth, both first and second place gets plenty of dough. There are a ton of community maps, you can make your own, so if that hits your interest there's plenty to dig into.

Beep beep! Out of the way, coming through with full boost!
