Awesome awesome awesome work on this Armesto! These are the best vanilla assets I've seen

250+ hrs played, and I gotta say this game is TERRIBLE. Here is why:

- After exiting the game, Steam does not recognize that the game has been closed and continues to say "PLAY" until the next time the computer is restarted
- Each time you open the game, it takes 10-20 times of plugging and unplugging a Logitec G920 wheel for the game to properly calibrate
- Online Penalty & Ranking systems are completely broken (more on this later)
- Constant crashes
- Unable to tab away from the program once it's opened. This is especially problematic when the game crashes, because it requires you to restart the entire computer to exit the game.
- removed classic cars from the game (worse than 2020)
- weekly events (often) are non-multiplayer even though they're on the multiplayer tab. those were the best races because they had full lobbies and people raced cleanly, now half are gone (worse than 2020)
- short circuits removed (worse than 2020)
- imola, turkey, etc. not included in the game even though they were raced in real life over a year ago and are still part of the calendar
- UI glitches
- Glitches when navigating the in-game menus
- Errors when joining multiplayer lobbies
- Sometimes you're driving nowhere near anybody else and the car comes to an 200mph-0mph instant stop in the middle of the road (not "slow down", actual split second break every bone in your body instantaneous stop), goes into neutral and is unable to move, like it's stuck on an invisible barrier
- Issues with Ghosting cars
- Issues with cars falling through the map
- The game gives out time penalties for severe collisions when no other car is in sight
- Sometimes the tyres have no textures, they're just white
- Sometimes Jeff the race engineer tells you to put on inters when its sunny out
- In My Team mode, every single driver on the grid (even if they won the previous year's WDC) has low focus after year 1

On the plus side:

- music & sound design is great, much better than 2020
- breaking point was cool, but only like 6hrs of content so not that cool
- my team mode has seen some improvements with the team management gameplay

The driving model is good, but HOLY HELL please fix the penalty systems & ranking systems for multiplayer. I was really excited for this game, and was hoping it’d be better in 2021, but its still so bad. People drive you into the wall, CONSTANTLY punting you off the track and out of the session, and with practically no risk. What’s gonna happen, they get banned from the lobby and immediately find a new lobby? There is no lasting punishment, there's no meaningful way to report dirty drivers, there's no "low priority" races for someone who gets reported too many times, there's no punishments in the race itself for smashing someone into the barrier and DNFing them, so why not be a dirty driver? Why not win by being the last car standing?

And on the flip side, the game punishes players who race cleanly. Race with no incidents in ranked for 10 straight races? Congrats now youre A or S safety rated and you can no longer find ranked lobbies with similarly rated players because no one else is rated that high (because there's no incentive to be). Not to mention the penalties in the actual race are also insanely bugged. In front of a terrible driver who rear ends you over and over under a safety car? congrats you now have 15s of time penalties. Multiplayer would be so much more popular if this all was fixed
