A wonderful little visual novel with a cute concept, beautiful execution, outright amazing visuals and a surprisingly good plot! All of the elements of each Sonic character came together in delightful harmony throughout the whole thing, and the Special Stage-esque Think sections were wonderful from start to finish. Played without the accessibility options and had a blast! Thank you for this lovely April Fools project!

This game was well worth the money I spent on it, which is 7 dollars as of a recent sale.

The gameplay itself is remarkably smooth, though one has to get used to the control scheme a bit. No big issue there; once you master it, it becomes as easy as breathing.

The graphics are amazing despite being so scaled down, with every character feeling alive and unique instead of being stiff entities.

The music, while not exactly memorable on my end, is perfect for the game. Calm, atmospheric, but intense when it needs to be and doesn't overtake the sound effects. Even when I had to re-fight several bosses, I still loved the music.

All in all, it is a greatly enjoyable experience for those that like something a bit more difficult than your average video game.

If I had to give it a number score, I'd give it a 9.1/10. Challenging, beautiful, and fun. What more could you ask for?

What's a shame? I'm not even sure anymore.

As a watcher and player of the original Binding of Isaac, I can confirm without a doubt that this game lives up to the original's name, then skyrockets above it.

The improved graphics, engine, and item synergies, along with hundreds of new items, makes this game shine like the little indie gem it is, and I would recommend it to anyone with a strong stomach and a bit of cash burning a hole in their pocket.

15$ for 400+ hours of genuine entertainment, frustration, laughing and crying? It's a steal!
