This is a game that is pure fun. It is easy to understand the objectives, but it is hard to execute. This usually leads to a good time.

Overall a very fun game in that it mashes together two concepts: Score grinding and RPG/Tactical elements. This is great especially if you like playing games that have a strategic flair, but do not necessarily have the time to throw down to learn the ins and outs of the game. Losing does not feel like "losing," as you can just pick yourself up and try again. Would recommend to anyone that just needs a time burner for 30 to an hour.

The most important thing to consider is that this game allows for far quicker games than original Civs did. So, depending on how you feel about games, you have far quicker opportunities for comebacks than in the last game. Rubberbanding, so take it however you wish about that.

One of my favorite games in the pseudo-action-movie genre. Seriously.

God Mode is dumb. In all the best ways.

After completing this game, I was VERY surprised at how deep the story was and how you cannot even fathom the point of the game until the end. An excellent value, both as story/entertainment and replayable via speedrun. Excellent.
