Look, I'm 50. Raiders of the Lost Ark came out when I was 7. It was formative.

Is this game bug-free? Certainly not. Gina keeps repeating a certain line over and over and I hope that is fixed in a patch soon because honestly. I think it crashed on me once. I've read that there are other bugs, but I haven't been impacted by them.

Does this game capture the feel of the Indiana Jones movies? The first three, at least? Absolutely yes. From the opening scenes that replicate a classic piece of the first movie through to the sets, supporting characters, and enemies. The combat is so-so, and some of the side quests are meh, but the overall experience feels like it's taking me through another Indiana Jones experience that is certainly better, so far, than the Crystal Skull. So there's that.

Overall, I am enjoying this.

And just a note to the people who can't handle the fact that there are strong women in the story and people with different lifestyles: We all see you. We see how fragile you are. And Indiana would be very disappointed in you.
