Somewhat a decent game.
Have an interesting story which can feel a bit cheesy sometimes, but the cutscene and voice acting is great especially the japanese one. I recognized the big names that did the VA.

The gameplay is quite good, with an interesting build system. Nevertheless the animations feel airy and not as intuitive as other soulslike game, and some opponents don't really telegraph the attack which occasionally made me irritated. Overall the difficulty level is not that high with the companion help.

Level designs are meh most of the times, except for budget anor londo which are both interesting and frustrating at the same time.

It has edgy anime style visual which can turn down some people, but I think It's a huge plus for anime fan. The character customization is great and your character will also looks good on the cutscenes, unlike most games

If you like anime action game, I think you will like this. If you're a soulslike fan, give it a try but don't expect much

Souls but with gun. My exp is fully in single player, so I'll not give any comment regarding the mp element
Pros:
+ Combat with gun feels solid and satisfying
+ Diverse variety of weapons
+ Random generated world means you can encounter different bosses in each playthrough

Cons:
- Randomly generated means nothing really stand out and interesting in the level design and worldview
- Boss fights don't feel unique since most of them just spawn a lot of weak enemies while occasionally attack us
- Character and weapon progression are not that interesting, mostly stats based
- Kinda short, only around 12-14 hours. but it still have replayability due to random bosses and dungeons. I believe you'll discover all the contents after 3rd playthrough which i think will be around 30 hours

fun chill metroidvania that gameplay loop focuses around mining the resource, sell it, and upgrade your arsenals to mine deeper. 8/10

roguelite with amazing combat system

Good:
- Pretty nice graphic for its price
- The battle can be quite fun with its variety of weapons and shells
- The animation feel fluid and intuitive
- Some cool bosses

Bad:
- A bit too short, I beat it in only 8 hours
- Level design is confusing with not enough landmark, it's so easy to get lost in the swamp
- Even though the battle is fun, there aren't enough enemy variety and most of them can be beaten using same strategy, feel repetitive after a while
- Parry is frustrating to use due to the weird timing needed for successful parry, feel inconsistent across enemies

Haven't try the roguelike mode

Haven't completed a campaign, but I enjoyed the experience so far.
What I like:
- Ballistic system is certainly better system compared to traditional dice roll in XCOM.
- Geoscape is more complex with multiple base, squad, and aircraft which you need to micromanage
- Classes and inventory system are flexible and push you to be more creative, although the skills are not really flashy
- I love the overall thematic of the story and how they presented the cutscenes. Good way to present the story in budget

What I don't like:
- Lack of level variations. Most places feel similar
- Lack of enemy variations. The variations are only presence in what weapon they bring, or armor in some part.
- Lack of excitement. Due to lack of variations I mentioned above, combined with mediocre VA, BGM, and SFX

Overall, it's not as bad as most people said IMO. Sure it has flaws, but I think you should give it a try if you're fan of the genre. There are 2 more DLCs that will be released, with addition of more QoL improvement in the future so I can only see the game keep getting better

edit: Finished a campaign, finally! Do I change my mind about the game? not really, I still think it's a fun game. Late game can be quite grindy and boring, but I will still recommend it to the fan of the genre
