Bought this game at launch. Only played a small portion, came across the bugs and crazy frame drops so it didn't keep my attention long while I had other things to do and other games to play. However I seen the hype it had been picking up recently (I've still not seen the show btw!!) so decided to get it a second chance and what a good choice that was. First of all it is beautiful to look at, the neon lights everywhere in Night City never got old. The game play was solid enough, enjoyed switching between shooting and going crazy with melee. The driving was fine for the studio's first attempts at it (the street races could have been more challenging!) .

The stand out area is the story and character's that are met through the game and how quickly you become invested with them. Even the side plot while there are links to the story still had you adding hours just to see where they unravel and what outcomes you will get. The back-and-forth between Johnny Silverhand and V never got old and never will not to mention everyone else met along the way. Now I'm just waiting to get some time to watch the show and then get started on a different play though before the DLC comes out.

Definitely recommend giving it a second chance if you're one of the few who hasn't already.
