Even in 2023 i still find my self playing this game on harder difficulties. it really is a lot of fun and with the vibrant modding community it just adds a little more entertainment than what you would think you will get. If you are into tactical games then this one is a must play.

An amazing game with various game modes. I would invest a lot of time in training mode if you intend to play online but also to learn when best to use the drive rush its best learned in battle. anyway very fun definite yes

First impressions are always said to be very important. Therefore I was sceptical of procuring this instalment of the Mortal Kombat series as my first impression (Based on YouTube reviews at the time) was that the game was much slower than MKX. Playing this game however not only ignited the fire of kombat in me again but also taught me so much about fighting games in general. The tutorial is very intensive and well prepared. At the same time its very optional so you can learn things at your own pace. If I have to rate this game then I would give it a 9/10. The net code is great and quality of matches is amazing. The fact that you can customize the way your game reads your inputs, is just insane. No other game gives you the option to use or disable release check as well as input shortcuts for moves. Then to further the personalisation aspect of the game, you can customize not only the look but the move set of your characters as well. My only issue is with the RNG of the krypt. Its very hard to get a specific skin or gear set piece that you might have your eye on. In short I would say get this game. It is honestly worth every second of time spent in it.
