If you liked Killing Floor or Killing Floor 2, you'll love this one too. Maps are big and confusing but it's a fun game. Little bit of a learning curve especially if you've not played KF in a bit. Highly recommend!

This game reminds me of a nicer ARK but no dinos. Do yourself a favor, buy it on sale and then go the route of bow and arrow. Also, make sure you press J for the in game guide to all the items and mechanics. It is kind of confusing at the beginning but I promise, it's fun! If you liked ARK, you'll like this game too.

Fun game that provides hours of game play. Not as scary as I'd like it to be, but overall, fun and definitely some tense moments. Would recommend - especially at just $10. Check out my full review on my YT channel.

Surprisingly fun. Lots to do and explore. Currently single player although I hear multiplayer is coming. Would totally recommend this game!

Lots to do. A bit complicated but it's free so you'll never run out of something to do. Community is fairly nice too which is always a plus.

It works. That's also a very low bar but with these indie games, that's kinda where you have to start. It's unique in that many of the tools look different, work different, do differently than other ghost hunting games. So if variety is what you want, then this has it. Also, lots of jumps and scares which are unique to this game. Like that there's multiple maps to choose from - have not tried them all yet. Will say this is very ambitious because the lobby by itself is just... wow. They obviously intend to add more to it but I love that there are TONS of interactive items in the lobby. Also, the character creation sort of stops half way which only means they've not finished that part yet. Overall the ghost hunting and getting evidence is decent. The tutorial is very useful HOWEVER the exorcism is weird. And long. Too long. If you somehow survive long enough to complete the exorcism, then wow. But this needs to be more streamlined.

Also... you can pee on everything. Obviously the creator is a man. lol

EDIT: Season 1 is terrible. Very disappointed. They basically took old content and just changed it up a bit. And now rather than doing it multiplayer - it's all single player. It's frustrating because they made mechanics that are overly complicated and impossibly hard for some characters. It's a bad sign that the first season was terrible. I'd say this game is okay-ish for a bit, but I wouldn't invest any real amount of time or money in it.

It's fun. If you like Destiny 2 you'll like this game too. Although if you don't like the grind, it may not be that fun for you. Most of the grind is just redoing things you've already done BUT once in a while, you have a part that is a bit more tedious than I'd like. Overall, it's fun and it's free. So might as well give it a try.

I've not yet had a chance to play in multiplayer - so my review may change when I get a chance to play with others. But for now - as solo - it's fairly hard. Players attempt to find cursed items (at least 4 but increases with difficulty) inside the location. Using the magnifying glass (click to activate it - no need to hold a use button), items that appear foggy with light up the circle around the glass in the magnifying glass. If the item is cursed, it will glow purple. If it is not cursed, the smoke will disappear.

Another thing to keep in mind is that players are provided with a bell which is used to disperse the red fog. Not sure what this miasma (red fog) does but every time I stood in it for very long, I died. So good to have someone that is on top of that. Second, one charm is provided to prevent death should the ghost hunt. Each player has a unique ability which is useful to the team as a whole. Playing as the priest was probably the best option for solo. Other objectives like dispersing the miasma, finding the dolls, etc are not required but provide extra rewards. Your main focus should be survival and finding the cursed items. Each item must be taken to the summoning circle which will automatically burn when the item is dropped inside. Pay attention to the color that the fire burns as this tells you what affect is being added to your game (including spawning a minighost).

Four full games and I completed the exorcism only once (on easy and in solo). There is only one location so it is a small game - very new - but a unique twist on spooky, ghost hunting. The focus is definitely on teamwork which is always a plus in my book. If you have friends to play this with, I would recommend the game. Devs seem to be very actively engaged in the game and added in the inverted y within 24 hours of my request. Definitely a good sign.

Interesting take on tower defense. Protect the door of a little girl from her nightmares/toys. Not bad - probably more fun with friends. Can't change your keybindings but it does have inverted y (or x if that's your thing). Little bugs like sounds weren't playing for some reason until after I leveled up a couple of times. But fairly easy to learn. Would be better with customizable keys.

Love this game. The developers are obviously passionate enough to keep with it for more than a decade. I hear it's finally going to full release. So excited for this new new chapter in 7 Days!
