Amazing game that doesn't take that long to finish.

Minor complaints, but I like it quite a bit.

It does a great job with story and pulling an unusual fantasy world from Slavic myths and the balance of civilization style game and RPG feels great. The events that come up are interesting and the narrators eo a good job with voice acting. I love the detail that my characters look like their portraits on the world map. It has a lot of the elements I liked from Thea 1 kept in it.

I like the change from gods purely getting stronger to god points that unlock startup options changing it from a game that gets much easier to a game that gets very different every play through.

I like the main story has many branching directions it can go into. These directions sometimes have difficulty spikes you can't walk away from, but going to the different islands will do different things and often further branches of multiple things. The main story feels a bit short but it's designed for multiple plays of variation.

Sometimes the game could explain how it works better. For instance, I was 50 hours before I realized I wasn't finding tier 4+ resources, because those are crafted from the same menu as food. I wish the game told me this. It changed a lot.

The balance seems a bit off. You are generally still better off being townless wanderers until you leave the first island. This makes it a bit of a non-choice until you leave that island, but these things are hard to balance. If your island size isn't huge it makes the start boring to explore.

It has a lot of dead grind time when you can't really handle the next main story so you need to craft equipment but you'll need to craft better equipment for them. There isn't much to do during that time except explore locally and see the same events again and again. This would be fixed with more stuff and events similar to how thea 1 got the giants free DLC. I'd pay for content DLC. This would also help extend how long the main stories feel.

I know, despite how much I enjoy it this game, that it wasn't a huge commercial success for them. It probably led to overall losses like the first one. I hope they put out another "coffee for coders" style DLC so I can pay them for portrait variety the art team does while the coding team works on adding more content.

It's good. Like titan quest but more modern and a dark fantasy world instead of a historical mythology fantasy. You should play it.

I have played many of them and years later I still feel it's mixture of humor, accessability, and depth of good choice options make it the best rogue-like on steam.

I like it. Every playthrough is different and even if it's kind of easy to beat your rival since you see different things every play through you can always try to beat your score.

It's a fun easy to pick up and put down game with a lot of unique and interesting design choices.

The dungeons are mostly put down by cards you draw every turn and for combat you build decks for specific card choices like the blades deck, the armor deck, or the fire deck by equipping items on a dungeoneer. There are many classes.

It stays pretty random this way and has fun to play many times.
