Paradox at this point has realized that they can ♥♥♥♥ all over their fan base and churn out any extra content with a guarantee that people will take out their wallets. Stellaris has now been on the market for quite a few years and this latest expansion promised to "revamp" the federations mechanic in the game. By "revamp" they mean they add a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ little power up mechanic and then ask for $20.00. They didn't even place the Lithoid Species pack in the expansion, that was sold as seperate lol. Let me tell you what is still in the game. AI allies still do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in wars, they have massive fleets that just remain stagnant while you attempt to carry the weight of your team. It is pathetic. People have been complaining about this for years, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. What use is your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ little federation mechanic if the federation allies DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEIR FLEETS? On top of all of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you have to sit there and listen as pop up after useless popup annoys the ♥♥♥♥ out of you about how your Founder Species is being enslaved. Mind you there is no way to cancel that pop up. Mind you people have been complaining about this for months. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Leave it to the mod community, all Paradox is here to do is take your money. This expansion is ♥♥♥♥, do not buy it. Wait for it to be sold for .99 cents. At the end of the day, this game only remains enjoyable as it has from day one. Make no allies, and conqure everything. They could not manage to make the game playable with alliances, even after so many years. Truly. Pathetic.

Best, most tactical, and fun team-playing FPS I've ever played. I really hope they either release a new version of this game or keep updating it

I hope Wildcard gets to finish this game! It's a great game and fun way to kill time. The game itself is huge and really challenging if you play vanilla. Don't be fooled by the negative comments! I'd buy this game despite it being in alpha!!
