One of the best sci-fi narrative games, that feels alien but deeply human.
Pros
+ Story writing is really great; it trusts players enough to let you piece information on your own while still providing important context, and that makes you actively engage with the narrative. And the pacing is good too, with the story keeping progressing enough as it reveals more about the story, and the more you know, the more you wanna know.
+ The characters are so good; I really love all of them. They are all multidimensional, and even the NPCs with their tropey roles have their own subversion that enriches them.
+ The gameplay is simplistic and unchallenging. A lot of it feels like a walking simulator sometimes, though it doesn't add much to the core experience, it doesn't become a detriment to it.
+ The dialogue is written well; they feel natural with subtlety and nuance even in the sci-fi setting.
+ The voice acting is good; it's more naturalistic than dramatic, but it suits the game well and enhances the experience.
+ The music and atmosphere are good; it serves the story and the gameplay well.
+ The visuals are serviceable. I wouldn't say they're bad, but they are stylized enough that they don't detract from your experience, unless you are a realistic visual "glazer."
Cons
- The main hub is like a maze and confusing to navigate the first time you're in there.

More on the Narrative and Writing

I wanna yap more about this game's narrative and writing, so this might be a mild spoiler, thou I won't say more. I do advise playing the game blind to get the full experience.

This game doesn't shy away from its central theme; it's written so well that everything from the first time you boot the game to the very end credits feels intentional and compelling.

The game's premise is you play as a clone, the Watcher, in a clone society that worships the ALLMOTHER, who is also the progenitor of all the clones. They all lived underground to protect themselves from aliens that occupy Earth, who already devastated and killed all humans. As Watcher, you have the ability to commune, which is exploring the past memories of the ALLMOTHER so vividly. This is where you start to find out about ALLMOTHER’s past as a deeply flawed girl named Iris, and all of that explores the game’s major themes. From there, you start uncovering more about the clones and ALLMOTHER's origin.

One of the major themes of the game is about generational trauma, how it creates these cycles of resistance or cycles of rebellion that in turn break those cycles just to cause another. It's so deeply entrenched in all the characters and how it directly impacts and shapes people even for thousands of years later, as shown with the clone society.

I also like how they presented the game's ending choices because it really enforces one of the major themes of the game, which is choosing what to keep and what to let go. Unlike traditional choices that usually lead to different endings, you are given choices about people, traumas, and past memories. Then you choose what to keep and what to let go about them. These are choices that make you think. Though I do like how they presented it, the aftermath of it feels lacking. While there are a lot of choices on what to keep and to let go, only some of them impact the epilogue; some are barely even present in the changes they make.

A short and good story but mediocre detective gameplay.

Pros
+ The story and mystery are quite engaging. I literally finished it in one sitting, and it was quite good — the twist is solid too.
+ Interesting concept: playing as a ghost and solving your own murder by possessing people, using poltergeist abilities, reading minds, etc.
+ The gameplay is easy and short, even the detective parts — so for achievement hunters, it’s an easy 100%.
+ The world design and art style blend well to create a supernatural and mysterious atmosphere.
Cons
- The dialogue is... ugh. Really on the nose — no subtlety at all.
- The stealth sections are so repetitive and just frustrating. There’s no freedom or creativity the way stealth gameplay usually do.
- While the concept is good, the investigation feels shallow. It lacks the depth that would let you roleplay as a detective — everything is predetermined by the story.

A Harry Potter fan’s dreams come true
First of all, a word of gratitude for a friend of mine, Ghost Rider, for gifting me this game, I am thankful for your giveaway.
Pros
+ The story is quite decent. You play as a Hogwarts student (a custom character, which is a plus for me) who gets admitted to Hogwarts as a fifth-year. The story is slow-paced; you attend classes to learn new spells, get to know the professors and other students, while also unraveling the game's conflict.
+ You can choose your own house in this game, which doesn’t really change much in terms of playstyle or anything—just a few dialogues and a mission exclusive to each house (one of them involves visiting Azkaban, clue: badger). But for me, it’s a plus because it gives you that roleplaying feeling as a Hogwarts student.
+ The world design is just full-blown fanservice. The details of Hogwarts castle are a dream come true for Harry Potter fans, not to mention the Highlands and Hogsmeade, which offer a variety of places you can explore. There are also a lot of puzzles and secrets in Hogwarts castle, just like in the movies or books.
+ The combat is great… but only when you’ve unlocked most of the spells. The first few hours (the first ten hours for me) are quite slow, as you only have limited options to defeat enemies. But lategame is where the combat shines for me. There are a lot of spell combinations to defeat enemies, which makes it really fun. I suggest playing the main story until you reach the point where you unlock talents—that’s when the combat starts to get fun.
+ Exploration is also quite fun. You have a flying broom to traverse the world, which is great to use, as well as some fantastic beast mounts you can unlock in the game. The exploration offers significant rewards; for example, some puzzles reward you with increased gear slots, which is nice. However, it does feel repetitive and quite samey toward the end, especially when I tried to 100% the game.
+ There’s also transmog, which is always a plus for me since I love customizing outfits, lol.
Cons
- The game pacing is quite slow for the first few hours, which might be a turn-off for some people, especially since they introduce some of the game mechanics piece by piece in each mission. While this might give a sense of progression, it does limit how you play during the first few hours.
- The side quests are a hit and miss for me. In the first few hours, there are quite a lot of fetch quests, but the game does give you some interesting ones with good stories. I personally really loved Sebastian’s questline.
- The voice acting is, for me, nothing to fault, but it’s just my personal preference that the dialogue and voice direction feel a bit off. Almost everyone in this game is so friendly and speaks so politely. I don’t know if it’s because of the setting (I’m not native to the UK), but for me, it just feels flat because there’s a lack of interpersonal conflict between characters cause almost everyone likes you instantly. This is also why I loved Sebastian’s questline; his character, for me, is a lot more layered.
- Enemy variation is very limited. There are only a few types of beasts, like wolves, spiders, frog monsters (I forgot the name, lol), and trolls. There are also goblins, dark wizards, and some knight statues, and that’s it. While they have their own sub-variations and unique ways to defeat them, it does get repetitive and feels lacking.
- There’s also a lack of a morality system, which means you can use the Unforgivable Curses, like Avada Kedavra, without any consequences. This kind of defeats the roleplaying aspect of the game.

A decent cyberpunk anime action game with good combat

Pros
+ The story is decent, with many anime cringe tropes, but still interesting enough with its twists and turns in the plot to keep you engaged.
+ The game also has two protagonists, each with a different gameplay style and different companions' powers that can be used. It also offers different perspectives on the main story.
+ The game also has good world-building and lore to back it up.
+ The combat is the main highlight. I love it; there are a lot of combos with melee attacks, psychokinesis attacks, and also the powers from other companions that you can borrow.
+ The characters' cast is cliché, just like anime. There’s the tsundere, childhood friend, shy dere, etc., but I still like it.
+ The graphics are decent anime style, but I love the art direction of its cyberpunk theme.
+ The monsters are pretty good, varied enough, and complement the combat by encouraging the use of different powers.
Cons
- The level design is kinda samey, not really interesting.
- The side stories about the companions are hit and miss for me. Some of them are good and give depth to the characters, but some of them also feel like filler and fall flat.
- The side quests are flat—like the worst. They should have been called challenges or something because they don’t feel like side missions or quests at all, just tasks to do.
- I don’t really like how the storytelling is presented, as it’s more like a visual novel for a game of this caliber.

A nice and cozy game about climbing.

Pros
+ I love the gameplay; it’s methodical and kinda reminds me of Death Stranding, but it’s all about climbing. You have to manage your stamina, your grip on the wall, and decide where to place your rope so you can swing, wall-run, or maybe take a rest.
+ I also like the level design in this game; it has enough variety in each chapter, with how you can traverse the verticality, though it’s not particularly challenging.
+ The art direction and graphics in this game are quite good—I love the color palette.
Cons
- The story in this game is implicit, only shown through cutscenes, while dialogue is nonexistent. Instead, the narrative and lore are found within its collectibles. For me personally, it makes it hard to invest in the story, but it’s not a big deal.

A short and intriguing third person sci-fi game

Pros
+ The Story is pretty standard, it follow our main character Rani and her friend Becks doing some space cleaning on a planet while also discovering the mistery that surround it.
+ The Graphic and Art Direction is Gorgeus, kinda remind me of the game Kena: Bridge of Spirits (that's a really good game btw), the environtment and world design is so good, its vibrant and beautiful.
+ The Gameplay is linear and mostly loop around doing cleaning by sucking up gooey thing with some light platforming and puzzles. The game has light and simple combat that just mostly shooting enemies or suck them up then yeet them away.
+ The Characters in this quite interesting and got a good development through the story, i like the banter between the main character and her partner, its really what makes the game alive for me.
Cons
- The Cleaning Gameplay thing is sometimes feel tedious, luckily the game is pretty short, so it's not overwhelming.

A great sci-fi open world game

Pros
+The Graphic is beautiful, the world design, and the design of enemy machines is just *chef kiss
+The Story is great with good world building and lore
+The Combat, especially with machines is so good, enemy have a lot of varieties with its own weakness and strengths, also a lot of weapon varieties to fight them
+Open World Exploration is pretty standard, go to this icon, kill this collect that. Fortunately they are not overwhelming and only a few
Cons
-The Side Quest is really standard and kinda forgettable, although there is some that has a good story.
-The Facial Animation is quite bad, they are emotionless, but the frozen wilds expansion improve on this
-No Unique Boss Design
-The Weapons and Outfits only available on merchant, no drop from enemy or loot, make it kinda unrewarding
