Hell yez!! 10/10

After the 2nd Season, got promoted to the 1st league and started a farm team. I traded my ADC for someone better, lost all of my budget there. 10/10.

If you are a fan of GM style of play, and know how MOBAs work, this game is for you regardless of how bad you are at Dota/LoL.

Not only the strong survive but those who also adapt. Dive and dive again. And again, and again, and again, and again. And then dive some more. 10/10.

Great concept so far. It needs a sandbox type of mode.

As a Xcom fan, this game is NOT like Xcom at all. It’s an insult to compare it to Xcom.
This is just a turn-based game with a linear story. Characters are premade; also linear, you can only change their equipment and that's it. The game's ‘twist’ is that it has chess/tabletop features. No base of operations, no research, and so on.

Now, the concept is amazing. But I cannot recommend this game, the game-play did not deliver. The quality is not worth more than $30US. I would recommend it on discount 100%.

I saved Pvt. Steve Rodgers. He inspired his battalion while defending the base and got injured in the process. My CO wanted him back in the front lines and promoted him to Corporal. Thanks to my efforts I earn a request for a trauma doctor who saved my next VIP. I had to sacrifice 3 privates during the process.


Create your triage, do favors, earn requisitions, hire healed soldiers to defend the base or send them to HQ and watch them on Chapter 2 get shot again.

This game is a masterpiece. The game itself is around 35hrs give or take. But it can take more if you do multiple deployments.

Gameplay: Its 100% RTS. Having said that, the only 'xcom-like' is the base building and the marines management. Moreover, it reminds me of the first Red Solstice game where you go bunker-to-bunker finding survivors, looting, calling air strikes, etc. Some missions are made for just stealth. But most of the game is made for 1) Fight head on, 2) call it a day, 3) bring a new squad the next day to finish the mission.

Bugs: Out of 35 hrs, twice - a marine got stuck in a corner. But that's about it. (june 26th, 2023).

There is a reason why pineapple shouldn't be on pizza. The same reason why I eat taco bell even if it is the best colon cleanse. 10/10.

Best way to play as GM 10/10.
1) Create your GM - and select MLB + Amateur American league + Korean. ***Use Scout 'normal'.
2) Sim all of the 22' Season.
3) As soon as playoffs end, expand the league. The more teams the merrier. (>6-team pref = more difficult).
Optional: Within your preferred new team, add an extra minor league team in the Dominican Rookie league BEFORE you finish the expansion teams.
4) Pick your team as GM only.
5) Select your own coaching staff. *Have in mind:
a) Scout IS the most important slot since you are building a dynasty. Optional: You can pick 'Scout 100', but then it beats the purpose of all of this. Therefor, why are you reading this?
b) Coaches chemistry between themselves + coaches relation with your players are both the 2nd most important factors in the simulation. Access coaches personalities (via filter) and coaches relationship with players (via default view) BEFORE hiring them.
6) The expansion draft + Rule of 5 Draft + Free Agency is all up to you. But have in mind: the 3rd most important factor of the game are players special abilities - Ex; Leadership, prankster, etc.
7) Your first season will suck. But in 5 years you will dominate.
8) Enjoy!
