It took me a hot minute to warm up to the game. Got it, got frustrated learning the mechanics relatively quickly and dropped it for a month. Picked it up and stuck it out and it just keeps getting better. I personally feel like some default controls are a little convoluted, but its nothing that cant be fixed in settings.

I expected to like it because I love RoR2, but I did not expect to love this game just as much. 10/10 from me

Admittedly, my first souls-like game. I am normally not a tryhard or anything remotely close. I generally prefer mildly competitive to casual gameplay. However a friend convinced me to buy Elden Ring. I have hardly played anything else. Its forgiving enough to learn, but hard enough to keep you coming back. There's always a goal, a challenge, and a reward that are fitting of the difficulty of said quest. Its beautiful, its frustrating, its enjoyable, its FRUSTRATING, and a great game for tryhards and filthy casuals alike.

Very fun. Laid back if you want casual, and difficult if you want something that's a challenge. Very versatile no matter what you're looking for. Its friendly to short and long sessions. Honestly just a well rounded game with a nice fanbase who genuinely care about the game and its improvement. I'm excited for the dlc coming out in march.

Difficult game to learn but well worth it

Very fun game. I switched from League after playing for about 6 years and automatically loved it more. It is very engaging and has a high skill level with a tricky learning curve, but it is definitely worth the playtime.
