Here's what I'll say. It's not Torchlight II. If that is the experience you demand, you are going to be disappointed. It's not as good in story, lore, or gameplay as Torchlight II. If you buy this game expecting it to be a continuation of what you liked in the previous installations, you are going to be disappointed.

That said... it's a perfectly entertaining game in its own right. It does play differently, but I wouldn't say it plays worse. If you want a Diablo-clone to entertain yourself either because you refuse to support BlizzardActivision, or you're simply waiting for Diablo 4... you're NOT going to be disappointed. It's a good time waster to scratch that itch.

But I'd recommend you also by Torchlight II if you haven't already. That IS the better experience in nearly every way.

A relaxing and oddly satisfying experience. If only REAL cleaning felt as rewarding for the effort you put into it.
