Dragon's Dogma is an amazing example of a well put together and well thought out game with only a few downsides.


To list a few things I enjoyed...

- Great class and combat system
grabbing allows furthur interaction with enemies.. think smaller shadow of the collossus
several different vocations allow for a variety of playstyles, increasing the depth of the game
- Old medieval based world with enemies from greek myth
cyclops, hydra, harpies, chimera
- Pawns
customizable companions you can share with your friends if they also have the game
- Cinematic cutscenes
movie quality cutscenes that include your customized character
- Story and world
the backstory of the game and the world you play in end up being pretty thought provoking (no spoilers though)
- Useful DLC with substance
it's pretty damn good (new story, customizations options, and items)


Some things could be improved upon...

- In game cutscenes
your characters face will appear much uglier than normal for some reason and certain voicelines and animations are lackluster compared to the rest of the game
- Clunkiness
some small problems will make the game seem clunky in areas (mostly ingame cutscenes and certain animations) and end up breaking immersion


Overall, this game is very charming and any problems it has are super minor.
If you are an avid fan of role playing games, Dragons's Dogma is worth a play.

It's a masterwork, you can't go wrong!
