After turning down the graphics a ton, pumping my laptop's fan into overdrive, adding an external fan, and using an older Nvidia driiver which, by all my testing, works better than the latest one, I can safely say that I ahve got the game working at above 50 fps using my gtx 1060 w/ core i7. Seriously, tho, why does the older Nvidia driver (398.36) have better performance than the current one (399.07 as of writing)? Capcom, please fix this issue.
