Not a lot to do, but you'll really enjoy doing it!

This is the most epic Resident Evil title yet. I loved every second. The entire game is extremely cinematic. The graphics are jaw-dropping, at least on a RTX 2080. I pooped my pants several times (metaphorically speaking) and felt accomplished at surviving each epic boss. Yes, I used the word "epic" a second time because this game deserved it. The combat is engaging, the story is engaging, and the weapon upgrade system is great. All in all, I had a blast and would recommend this masterpiece to anyone, particularly fans of the genre but also to all fans of Capcom and lovers of cinematic-level gaming.

We LOVE this game. I see a lot of complaints about difficulty, etc. My response to that is: Maybe you're just no good at the game. I began playing after the April update that supposedly 'broke the game'. And I fell in love with this game. You didn't expect battling robots as a teenager would be easy, did you?

The controls took a bit to get used to, but they are quite natural feeling after you've played a bit. The difficulty ramps up nice and slow, though apparently some players are whining about the easy difficulty. My message to them: Be a better gamer. This game is fun, challenging, and GREAT to play with a couple friends. It's got survival elements, stealth elements, FPS elements, and RPG elements. And best of all...Robots! Obviously! And with the 1980's Sweden style, it reminds me of "The Loop" on Amazon Prime. An aesthetic I've fallen right in love with.

Keep up the good work, devs, and don't let the unfair reviews from whiny players that can't handle a challenge discourage you. My girlfriend and I started with the April update and have no problems with difficulty- it's definitely challenging, but in a forgiving way that we love. It's OK to die in a video game- you don't actually die in real life!

If this game catches your eye, buy it. Especially on sale. Full recommendation!

As a fan of Lovecraft, this game scratches an itch! The mechanics are great, the difficulty is hard but never overly frustrating. Good game would recommend

If you enjoy retro first-person shooters, such as Quake, Doom, and Hexen, you will LOVE this classic gem. Remastered for modern computers, this title is well worth the price- you'll find yourself wanting to find every crazy easter egg and earn every absured award.

If you've found this on sale and it caught your attention, trust me and buy it.

Seriously....it is theft to knowingly sell a non-working game. There is a consensus here- the DRM makes this game unplayable. DO NOT EVEN BUY ON SALE! You might as well burn your money.

Early Access Review
I have a very simple recommendation that I think would go over extremely well: VR Support! Many games are including DK2 support, and the HTC Vive for SteamVR will be out in November! What do you think?

This game is EXCELLENT, even as an early access game. It has all the features you'd expect to find in the genre: Crafting, a large area to explore, strange plants and creatures to discover, and amazing graphics that I would love to see from behind an Oculus Rift. If you like simulations that could easily be considered a VR environment, if you like to explore strange new worlds, if you like sandbox games or open-world games, then Subnautica is for you!
