Retro, super violent, with a superb soundtrack and engrossing story. Loved playing it.

First of all, this is a 2D platformer.

However, this is a platformer as good, no, even better than those we played in our infancy. It really is that good. Awesome story, multiple endings, a single enormous world, several weapons and upgrades, etc. I even bought a d-pad just to play this!
And im not that into platformers!
