It's great. Is it worth forty dollars? Questionably, depending on your tastes. I believe for a first timer to any entry in this series, this is a worthwhile purchase to play what is basically the original Bioshock predecessor. It's challenging, it's got a great atmosphere - it's polished enough to entertain, period.

Although there are clearly issues about the gameplay itself, I've been enjoying playing it casually regardless. It looks gorgeous when maxed out graphically. Probably worth the $50 bucks, but definitely get it if it goes on sale.

I have finally completed the game on what is considered the "good ending," and I have to say that I regret purchasing it on sale price. I wish I had paid full price; I would consider the value of this game underwhelming currently with the content that was offered. That is, if you're into these types of story-driven, RPG style games.

I really enjoyed the thematic, and dramatic way the material was presented, along with the amazing soundtrack. Everything combined leads to a whimsical, but also ominous journey through the human psyche, and the complications of trauma and negative emotions. This is a "horror" game at the end of the day, and those who who would like to avoid seeing disturbing imagery should be warned.

Truly I am blessed to be alive to experience such a wonderful adventure! I'll be purchasing the soundtrack to continue the support. An absolute must play-through in the 21st century of gaming - Thank you so much OMOCAT and friends for this beautiful masterpiece.

The game has aged like wine that was not fermented correctly; what we should have after years of storage should be something that tastes so fine, but instead what we get is an extremely acidic taste with an unpleasant smell.
