Having an absolute blast with this game! Shooters have become pretty generic over the years, but DOOM brings back the fun. Constantly moving, constantly shooting, if you stay still - you're dead. Awesome!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Based on a paid Indie Jam game of the same name. I bought that.
They re-released as a seperate game (as apparently it was soooo different to the game jam game) and have done absolutely nothing in a year. It's still as deep as a puddle and full of bugs. Now they're going to just release because no one is purchasing it as Early Access. Erm... maybe they're waiting until it's complete? It will now never be complete, it's just being badged as 1.0 and abandoned.

Shame on you Double Fine. You've gone on the list of people I won't purchase from in future.

Absolutely fantastic game. Been following this for roughly a year and it's shaped up to be everything I hoped it would be. It can be brutal at times, all your children dying of starvation - leading to starting new game, but every time you feel it was because of actions you chose. Trying to expand too quickly for example, and not concentrating on building a sufficient food engine. Right, review written, time to get back to Banished!
