I enjoyed the game. It was a nice & chillin' 15 minutes.

I made strangers laugh and made some of them my friends.

I deleted the game after learned that I cannot escape Fort Joy with Butter. We chit chatted and flirted, she had dreams about freedom and still she dies in there...

I fought with that katana guy about 1 hour and deleted game. Dodged him for 2 minutes and hit but cannot kill...

I found out that my friends have 1.5 IQ and I hate them.

Before quarantine, I spent hundreds of offline hours in dorm. Had to do same quests with different choices to see how it effects the world because there were no internet most of the time. This is my first Fallout experience so I cannot compare with other Fallout games but I have RPG genre experience so I can say something about it. In my opinion, there are 3 major factors for a game to be an RPG.

Firstly, awesome soundtrack! In an RPG game, which you will spend hundreds of hours, you cannot only wander around. There should be some music which you can sing along. Also, ambient sounds have to link you to game.

Secondly, storyline and freedom. Many of the games claim to be an RPG but they have a straight story. Whatever you choose, it won't effect the main storyline or your game style so you play like a puppet which is under control from a developer hand. In Fallout:NV, there is no straight storyline. You can avoid the main story or do it directly. You can do tons of side quests. Some of side quests have effects on the game world.

And the last one, factions! This is an RPG so you can be the one what you want! You can join factions (some RPGs don't let players to join factions) or try to be neutral adventurer as long as you can do.

Give it a chance, you won't regret it.

This game is masterpiece!

I played this game while I was staying at dorm before the quarantine. There are several bugs, sometimes when a quest bugs and you have to load previous save file. You should look at the forums when you see bugs. I played warrior class since I love some brute force. Wizard could be good but you have to play carefully and your one eye should keep looking at your mana bar. Musics are good. I played on only 2 maps but can say that there are lots of different enemies to see. One wrong choice and an NPC can stop talking and ignore you or you can lose your side quest. So, you have to use quicksave. Sometimes quicksave files get corrupt hence, I recommend you get a hard save before quitting the game. I stuck main quest because 6-7 hours before one of my quest is bugged and I couldn't speak with an NPC. I just ignored it but that bug affected my main story after all that hours and quest. I tried to load back but my save files like "1, 2, 3, 4, ..." so I couldn't find the right file to load. That's why you have to give recognisable names to your save files so after completing couple side missions and realise you did something wrong, you can load back.

If you love RPG genre, it’s still worth to buy it in 2021. Cheap, rich story, quality soundtracks, lots of bugs, good atmosphere.

Spade(shovel) is op. Real mans chooses sniper class and use spade.

I spend a lot of time in dorm. Contents never ends and you can enjoy it while you don't have internet connection. Everytime I tried to play destruction mage, I ended up making a stealth archer instead... :(

That squishy step sound was good. I liked it! Boss fight was hard, other parts was easy and pleasure.
