Started playing the series from the scratch after the recent anniversary video. And I have to say, it is a beautiful game (don't compare the graphics to today) but the kind of mechanics, the story, the objects interaction and all that introduced in the late 90s. It is just mind blowing, having to think how hard and groundbreaking it must have been to introduce it back then. The game that paved a way!!

1000/10
Went in with the gang to improve our teamwork, and surprisingly it went well, they all are patient enough to listen to each other calls now (otherwise they grief). But hey, it's still a win!! So gather your gang and jump in.

Early Access Review
First off, the game is amazing and is acting as a perfect breather for me and my friends from queuing fps games every weekend.

Playing around the proximity chat is really fun, hearing friends screaming through the walkie talkies, them coming out of a room running without telling that we are about to be hunted, or leaving us stranded on the moon while heading off to the orbit alone. Also, it is a space (disk space) efficient game with just under 1GB.

However, since the game is in Early Access, it still has some issues. The most common one that me and my friends have encountered is that spectating each other starts lagging out after a while. Apart from that, there hasn't been anything big.

Also, if developers comes across this review, can you guys please increase the lobby size to 5-6 atleast. Since, we are usually a 5 stack, it is really hard to decide who needs to stay out the lobby for the current round and so.

I love the gameplay, the way the players move and each event they execute. The Co-op mode is really good. The mode I love the most is the Become a Legend mode, since it allows us to create our own players as well as take one from the database, and you could play as that player, moreover the camera view of Player is amazing , I love that camera angle since it makes game really difficult as you can't see how many players are on your back.
But there is a part which I don't like in this game and I hate it, and that is that the game still doesn't have team India. As an Indian I really want to see my country's squad in the game. Also, since in Legend mode my player's nationality is India, I can not play any National game since India's squad doesn't exists.

//CS2//

To put it out straightly, the current version has it's ups and downs. But, before I head into this, I just wanna remind whoever is reading this review is that the game is still in beta, it will have problems for sure and likely issues would outnumber the brighter side.

A lot of legacy game modes are still missing, such as Arms Race, Demolition, Retakes etc. A few of my friends just used to play the game to enjoy these game modes, but they have not been implemented yet. Since, I hardly used to play these except for the retakes, I can wait for them to be implemented and prioritise other modes to be optimised.

Ability to run workshop maps from right inside the game (through a panel inside the menu) and join community servers (through the server browser) is still not here. Now, this is something that affects me to a great extent. I used to drop down on community retake servers and workshop maps to warm up and enjoy various community game modes such as zombie escape, co-op maps with friends etc. So, I am not really being able to enjoy the fun modded side of the game yet. I really hope we get them back soon.

Anti-cheat is still not upto the marks. Or the hackers are really talented, I don't really know hahaha. Even though I personally haven't faced a cheater in any of my games for past 2 years now. But a portion of community still seems to be running into them constantly, especially in the higher skill groups.

Next thing is what really has been bugging me, and that is the rating decay and gain in the premier mode. It really doesn't makes any sense to me to loose so much rating through the rank decay for being inactive in just span of 3-7 days. Moreover, you are losing rating 5x more on losing a match than the rating you are gaining from a win, for eg. on a win you are getting 115 rating while performing good on an average, and you are losing over 540 rating on losing a single close match. So, this is also something that needs to be looked into asap.

I won't be talking about hitboxes yet, as they are being constantly updated.

Overall, I am still gonna be recommending this game as it is doing really good while being in the beta. And I am having fun playing the premier and competitive matches, it's giving me a good adrenaline boost haha.

//CS:GO's Last Review//

Global Offensive is the version that brought me into this community officially. Since 2017, I have seen a few changes, map pool rotations, UI updates, new modes, game modes, and all I can say is the game has been constantly evolving. Though, it's true that the update rate is a bit slow but it's not like the devs are not working on evolving the game. They have always been working on that and we can see that with their updates from time to time.

The community is not so bad, when you especially compare it with other games. At least for me it has been super good so far, have met some amazing people and made a lot of friends. And I have been able to carry those friends throughout the time while meeting new people. All these memories that I have made are always going to have a special spot.

As, it's the dawn of the final day. I just want to say thank you for everything that you offered CS:GO, you will be missed. Farewell my friend!

See you all in the further evolved CS!
