Recenzja wczesnego dostępu
It's a very fun FPS game - this coming from someone who is not even vaguely interested in, or even likes, FPS games. I bought Ravenfield a while ago and I very quickly got £11 worth of entertainment from it. Yes, it's a bit glitchy but for me, that rather adds to the charm - not a single bug/glitch I've discovered have broken the game or otherwise annoyed me.

I REALLY wish there is a 'neutral' setting for reviews.

It is a very nice bus, very detailed and realistic, you also get a lot of variants. The repaint template is very nice, and the customisability is amazing. The sounds are also quite good - missing a few details from what I can hear compared to the ones in reality, but that may just be down to spec or maintenance or dodgy ears. HOWEVER, the passengers, for me, kind of let it down.

I've driven the bus quite a bit but each update I find myself going into the bus's 'vehicles' folder, going into 'sounds' and deleting the contents of the 'Passengers' folder - the voices are just so annoying (no offence to whoever's actually voicing them). Especially when OMSI doesn't really know how to act with single door buses - passengers will often exit before teleporting to their standing location (this happens on many UK/single door buses though). This will trigger a "goodbye" voice file, so they say it as they're getting on which is a bit odd - including I get told not to drive so fast when I'm starting a route and not moved much from the holding bay, not sure what's happening there. They also complain about darkness despite the bus being lit up like an American house at Christmas, and don't ask for tickets when using any variant of the bus (from what I've found) on maps using the default OMSI (German) voice pack. They just stand there silently until you give them the ticket. Also, on German maps they still use English voices - again seems a bit odd but not sure if that can be fixed.

Overall, it's a nice bus, I'd say it's worth it, but the passengers do let it down (Though the idea is very neat).

Edit: Passengers now ask for tickets once I fiddled around with the settings and increased the number of sounds the game can play.

Really this is a Virgin Trains Class 47 with a HST as a playable bonus.

The class 47 is posswibly the best 47 in TS (certainly the best one I've played with). The cab is excellent, the sounds are rather nice. It drives like a 47 should. I love the fact you can operate the wipers manually. I'll be perfectly honest, the 47 seems to bear no resemblance to the original 47 or shap 47, apart from.. it's a Class 47.

The HST as far as I can tell is the same as the HST in the Class 159 pack just in a different livery.

The coaches are really nice as well and in all, this pack is definitely worth £12. Just one thing, DTG: There sould be more scenarios for the Class 47.

I am reccomending this DLC because I can see it has great potential, and while, yes, it has glaring flaws, I'm just happy to have a UK route in TSW.

I have had a few lag spikes but nothing major and unless I use heavy rain at paddington station at a busy time while it's dark, my FPS rarely drops below 20 unless it's loading stuff in because I don't have an SSD.

I feel this route could have benefitted with a few more months in development to quash all the bugs, for example the somewhat amusing HST gangway glitch, passenger AI and AWS, all of which are to be fixed probably next week. I do feel that £25 is too much, even though there's been a lot of development, the content and length of the route don't justify that pricetag. The £15 offer that is on when I write this is a decent price.

Let's move on to the positives.
Service mode is great and really enjoyable. This is basically what I've always wanted in TS2017, to be able to walk around a station, select a train, drive it for a bit, then get on another train as a passenger ad then drive a different train again. I can easily get a lot more enjoyment out of GWE than i can on the original GWML available for TS2017, despite GWE being half the length.

I have only played one scenario, West World, which I thoroughly enjoyed and failed, went through Reading at around 90 mph.

The Class 166 is a vast improvement to the TS2017 one, with better sounds (though a bit quiet) and much better modelling, though the one thing that lets it down is the lack of destination board, but I hope that is added in the future, like departure boards at stations (which I'm told will be coming in the future).

The Class 43 HST is also a fantastic improvement to the TS2017 HST, even the AP class 43. The cab looks brilliant and you can tell they haven't re-used any of it from TS2017. Again, it does have it's flaws, like no ATP, which is mandatory for 125 running on the GWML. DTG have said this will come in the future.

I haven't as yet driven the Class 66 but from what I've seen, it looks and drives well.

Like I have said, this DLC is not finished, but has great potential, and with a few patches to iron out the bugs, it will pay off.

I have to say, these are really good wagons to use in any late 80s/early-mid 90s BR scenarios. I like the seeminly random choice the game makes as to the texture, some wagons have a larger Railfreight logo than others and some have different amounts of weathering. Must have for a late BR-era scenario builder.

This is an absolutely fantastic simulation. From graphics to detail, it's very nice indeed. Though it is lacking in content and features it does have some nice little details in the menu system, for example the menu, after you select your character, shows the sky based on your computer's clock. Another thing is the music, it changes when you go to select a scenario or tutorial.

Let's move on to the actual game. The performance I get on my system is about 40-50 FPS when on foot off a train, and 30-40 FPS when on a train, on medium settings. I have 16GB RAM, an AMD FX 8350 8-core processor running at 4GHz and an AMD Radeon R9 380 Graphics card. The trains are very highly detailed, in that the physics make it feel like you're hauling a big train, when accellerating. The trains brake a bit too quickly for my liking. There's also lots of buttons and switches which you can spend an alarming amount of time seeing what combinations of buttons do what. I particularly like the swinging connectors on the front of the train and on each wagon (although this becomes hyper annoying when the game lags and they tend to go flying when you change the camera from the front of the train to the back, needs fixing) and I particularly love the first-person aspect. Train Sim has been waiting too long for that.

In conclusion, though it is a very nice simulator with a LOT of potential, I'd say wait until Multiplayer comes (something I'm very hyped for - don't muck it up, DTG!) and until bugs are ironed out and there's just in general more routes and trains.

Fantastic pack if you want multiple A2s in 1950s scenarios for example on Weardale and BR's ECML.

An absolutely fantastic theme park builder, it runs well on my system at least, and is much better than Roller Coaster Tycoon World (i.e. the game we dare not speak of). The graphics and the detail are amazing. The rides that are there are brilliant, you can sit in any seat in a roller coaster, and the terrain tools are excellent.

It does however have a few drawbacks. The paths are the biggest one for me. I just hate it and says it can't do stuff that it quite clearly can. Another is the rides, or lack of them. There's only 1 wooden coaster and in RCT 3 there was about 5. There are no things like dolphin shows that were in RCT 3, no crazy golf and the list goes on, but the biggest lack of existence in this game is that there are no swimming pools, which I'd LOVE! But, to be fair, RCTW and Parkitect don't have them either as far as I know.

You can draw your own conclusions, but I would recommend this game because of the reasons not in the above paragraph. ALSO, I am saying I got it for free, but i paid for the alpha, so I got the steam version for free technically.

Is this the best route available?

This route is absolutely fantastic. It isn't just a linear route, it also includes many branch lines. The three locomotives included are fantastic. The brakes behave in a realistic manner, and take longer to come on the longer your train is. The route comes with the Classic European Asset Pack which gives you even more locos (HST, Deltic, 7F, Black 5, more liveries for the Class 47, Class 37, and some German locos, as well as Mk1 coaches in BR Blue and Southern Rail Green, a variety of freight wagons, and much more!)

Overall, 11/10
