I have very close to 600 hours (700 if you include CS:S) and I am still ranked at Silver 3. My highest rank to date was SEM, but that was short lived.

My hardware is decent all around, 6700k, 1070, 144Hz monitor, Mech keyboard, G502, So the hardware is not the problem. It's me.

I'm in Prime matchmaking.

I've tried practicing, but it almost never helps me.

Some days, I'm at my prime and my reflexes are near perfect, others I can't get a single kill. I know some of this is because I am not matched with equal players.

I've learned the jist of most of the recoil patterns, accuracy falloff, corners to check in maps, etc.

I've occasionally gotten compliments from teammates about my strategizing skills being better than what my rank shows, so at least I have that going for me...

What can I do? I don't need to be Global Elite, I just want to at least get out of Silver for the first time. Thank you.
