This is game is so much fun, it's quite easy (and fun) to create your own viable build without following any guides because of the in-game guide, the various search functions and the loot filter. Also, recrafting items with the Forge is available from the start, and you can get pretty good items very early on.

Also the general looks and vibe of the game a little less depressing than certain diabolical games.

A fun and colorful co-op shooter to play with friends (or strangers)! With stuff to find and unlock to keep you going. You can also play solo, but that's a bit more of a challenge.

To note: Although it has tower defense elements, you still have to defend and shoot stuff yourself quite a bit. You can't really build enough to be safe, I've found (or maybe we're just bad at it). That's not a criticism, but something you might want to know before trying this out.

If you've played Planet Coast, you probably now how the game works. But it's with (very detailed, both graphically and gameplay wise) animals! So, if you're into building games, this very definitely scratches that itch.

There are definitely some UI things that could be better (there are too many places where you can't search or filter in lists, I think), and laying down paths is just a bit weird.
