It's alright.

I've played some smash and I've played Brawlhalla. I would say movement is more like Brawlhalla but abilities and attacks are more like smash.

Pros:
Fun characters
Movement feels smooth (as long as you're not attacking)
It's free
Tutorials are great (eventhough 1 is bugged right now)

Cons:
Hit priority is weird.
Attack decay doesn't work enough. (should nerf the knockback and damage more) You can just ignore the attack decay right now.
Attacks don't feel the fluent. You can't input an other attack while in an attack animation.
It doesn't let you buy characters that are in rotation so when you start you think those are the characters that you won't have to buy.
They need to implement sliding (it's weird to go quick with dashes and whenever you attack, your speed is 0, you're standing still) It doesn't feel fluent
The walls in maps need to go. It slows the game down.
Some hitboxes need to be fixed like the superman ground side air. It can hit when it's not even close.
Needs a character pass (I don't want to grind for every character. Make it possible to have every character for a decent price). Don't put content behind a huge paywall but put cosmetics and battle passes behind a paywall.

I know this feels like I dislike the game but I don't. These are all things they can work on.

Fun game that will keep you busy for a while. Wish there was a little more contrast and allied things had a different color. The amount of times that I thought that there was an enemy next to me but it was my own dragon is astonishing.

Weird but brain-dead game.
You would be surprised how much time you could waste in this game.

Fun game.
You'll learn to be patient.
You need 4 hours to grow your stego 100% so you better be careful.
They are remaking this game so be sure to enable the new version (beta version).
Hopefully there will be more dino's soon.

This game is perfect if you love seeing yourself improve. Great game to kill time.

too bad it's dead right now and they devs don't have plans for it in the near future or maybe ever.
if they do pickup this game again
support arrows on controller and shift on pc.
Maybe also add some options to choose how many characters you want to play with in custom games.

I recommend this game but wait a month ;)
