Updated game troubles

I recently found out I had my game set on e1.7.0 and updated it to e1.7.2. Now everytime i got to start it, it won't start up. If I uninstall it and reinstall it, will I lose the save game I currently have? When i updated the game, Avast said it put the launcher in "quarantine" because of something named "IDP generic"? please help

Keep your heads up. The work you guys do is appreciated. What the toxic element of the "community" fails to realize is they are free to enjoy third party mods.... in an early access game, still under development. Someone please correct me if there are other games that have that level of flexibility. Now look at the return from the game so far; What was is $60? For me I have paid $0.01/HR for this game. I can't wait to see what comes in the future!
