Online multiplayer not working, controller support is missing, no achievement integration with Steam, Ubisoft Connect is like a cyber cancer... Should I go on?

Do yourself a favour - avoid this purchase until, at least, some of the issues are fixed. Or try for yourself, and refund within 2 hours, like most of the reviewers here did.

Shame on you, #Ubisoft.

Bought to support the developer.
Played the original TWEWY back in the day, it's most definitely a hidden gem, gameplay, story and art wise. The sequel did not disappoint as well.
Shame on you Square Enix for shadow dropping it so late after initial PC release.

For those who's interested - it's Steam Deck compatible, plays and feels very nice, like the game itself is suited for portable platforms.

Acknowledged as a must buy.

Of of the games I've been itching to play finally came out on one of the worst years in recent history.
Give it a try to escape the grim reality

One of the most thought-provoking and heartbreaking stories told in videogames. A personal favourite. If you haven't tried this yet, now (autumn sale) is a great chance.

During the past several years I've read plenty of VNs, however this gem was hidden from my sight for too long. A mistake on my part for not noticing it and not acknowledging its' brilliance long ago.

Being a VN, its' main selling point is the story. Some people would say replayability, but it would be a bit of a misconception. Replayability comes from the desire of a player/reader to explore more and to know more about the world (s)he dives in.
The same thing happened to me.

I was so engrossed by it that have already spent 42 hours. Not just because of the story and its hillariousness but also because of the mini-games it has. Strangely enough, they are not annoying. On the contrary, most of the laughs I've received from them. No matter how ridiculously stupid (however clever at the same time) the dialogs can be, they are not even close to the absurdity of situations within these games.

Just read it already. Buy it and read it. You will certainly love some characters, remember some scenes and definitely learn something from experiencing that... incredible world. Give it a shot, it will not disappoing.

But please be advised, this read is addictive and will require a lot, and I mean A LOT of your time. Just FYI.

Настолько реалистичной модели повреждения противников я не видел ещё нигде.
Проработанные персонажи, да и само их развитие по мере продвижения по сюжету побуждают сопереживать им.
Интригующий сюжет, а главное - его подача, бесспорно, главные достоинства Binary Domain.

Жаль, что мультиплеер уже не рабочий, некоторые ачивменты уже не выбить никогда, но я благодарен Sega за выпуск столь качественного продукта. С нетерпением жду анонса второй части (в своих сновидениях).
