It's Hollow Knight with Okami aesthetic. Great for someone new to the Metroidvania genre.

This is definitrely a game for friends to play together. If you have 1-3 friends with this you will all have an enjoyable experience especially if you all have a knack for causing chaos.

Cons:
~I played the campaign solo and the story is pretty barebones
~The dialogue is flat most the times
~You will hear a lot of the lines over and over again

Pros:
~Stealth mechanics are fairly solid
~Looks great at max settings
~The map is expansive and very beautiful to look at
~Some humor is pretty great in it be it intentional or not

I wanted to love this game. As the campaign dragged on it just reminded me that this was merely a stopgap to tide poeple over until Gears of War 3 released and it shows in its designs both in characters and weapons. It quickly becomes a self-parody and the story get incredibly dull and pulls just about every cliche there is to sandbag play time especially in the thirs act. I didn't care about any characters or the setting. The skillshot system got old fast and enemies fell into basic archetypes where they merely slowed you down on your way to the next checkpoint. For being a remaster the graphics look like thye were pulled directly from last gen with no new paint. I'm honestly glad I missed this when it launched originally.

2 hours into this game and I am glad I bought this on impulse. If you are waiting for the System Shock Remaster or System Shock 3 this game should scratch that itch no problem.

+Enemy types keep you on your toes and will actually run and try to hide for a surprise attack later on.
+Crafting is simplified and easy to understand with no in-depth tutorial.
+Tutorial itself is short and doesn't hold your hand.
+Difficulty is challenging yet fair.
+/-Pause combat to open inventory and eat pounds of food to heal ala Skyrim
-Feels a bit too similar to Bioshock but IN SPACE
-Just craft ammo in bulk and gung ho every room is a somewhat viable strategy as always.

Post completion edit:
Game was overly enjoyable from start to finish. As the plot progressed and I explored more of the system resources became scarce forcing me to save ammo and develop new strategies for battling the enemies that will reinhabits areas of the station. Very few rooms stay empty once you clear them. The story was very well written and the ending is hopefully one that is talked about for a while. Sadly this game seems to have been overlooked by many people and will later be recognized as an underrated gem of 2017. I never played the original Prey from the last gen so this is my first exposure to the IP. I plan on picking up the original sometime in the future and seeing if the praise it got is well deserved.
