Such an amazingly well thought-out game with plenty of attention to detail and wonderful writing to make the enjoyable gameplay worth every penny.

It's not a zombie game, it's a game with zombies in it. Great story with wonderful and memorable characters, fun gameplay, and plenty to do. This came out to mixed feelings due to its release being at the end of the huge zombie craze, but the zombies are a footnote compared to the overarching narrative and that's to its benefit. Picked this up not really knowing what to expect when it finally came to PC and I can say it was a full $50 well spent, easily one of my surprise hits of the last few years. Now, I hear a bunk calling my name.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this game, but do yourself a favor and just skip the entire last level (Star Forge) and just play KotOR 2 instead. Hot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage all the way through the Forge because Bioware apparently never knew how to properly end a game. ♥♥♥♥ that ending and ♥♥♥♥ Anthem, I'm glad Bioware is dying. 7/10 would ♥♥♥♥ HK-47.

Still a classic, been one of my all-time favorites since the Xbox 360 days. PC port still has issues, but Volition has vowed to fix them since finding the source code in Oct 2019.

Not Henry Cavill, so good. Must buy. Unlike Henry. Poor Henry.

Forced myself to finish the game and The Following. Don't buy unless it's $10 and you like playing broken games. Only slightly better than Dead Island, but only slightly. Probably better still with co-op, but still only slightly better. Would not recommend to anyone I care about.

Edit: Also the majority of hours played is spent AFK, don't confuse that for enjoyment.

It's been a long time since a game has made me feel so many emotions, but that's not a bad thing. I went into this game relatively blind, save a few rather huge plot-related details. These spoilers, however, didn't detract from the experience one bit and I'm thankful for that as this is easily one of the most incredible experiences I've had, both in terms of story-telling, music appreciation and satisfying gameplay. The PC port is a bit janky, but the FAR fan-made patch for it makes it startlingly improved. I cannot recommend this game to enough people and I owe it all to my friends' recommendations and some seriously well-done and in-depth analysis of the Nier/Drakengard Universe by a YouTuber named Clemps. Also finishing this game to 100% (weapons, side quests, upgrades, all endings, etc) was totally worth it for the complete experience. I don't normally 100% games unless it's something that has really enamored me and Nier: Automata had me at hello. I'd just recommend starting on Normal difficulty as the Hard and Very Hard difficulties are very unforgiving unless you are a fast learner with insane reflexes, as the combat takes a little getting used to.

TLDR; Get this game, play it, watch YouTuber Clemp's analysis videos and fall in love with Yoko Taro much like I did. GG, Platinum Games.

Update: Just picked up the DLC for about $6 and I'm so ready to dive back into this amazing game. It's got costumes from previous Nier characters and I'm ready to take on the head of Square Enix. Glory to Mankind.

Light-hearted, yet still very dark in places, Hyper Light Drifter is probably the best example of a classic Zelda game I have seen in a long time. Open-ended 2D world with simplistic combat and unlockable skills that further the player's ability to progress, not to mention boss fights that challenge one to recognize patterns and discern weaknesses. I have been waiting about a year and a half for this and I can say I have not been disappointed. Although the soccer minigame sucks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that minigame. With a brick. 9/10.

Love this gamepad, much more precise than a regular pad and with all of the programmable buttons and the rear buttons this is a pretty versatile device. Will probably pick up a second one for coop gaming with friends. Also the price is fantastic. ALSO IT BEEPS WHEN YOU TURN IT ON.
