I played this little gem years ago, and again here I have it on steam to replay it some more <3
I love the ideas, sim/puzzler mashup, vast parody and popculture references and original gameplay.
Visuals are a bit stale (how could they not be for 20-something year old game?), still audio is top of the top.
As of gameplay - it is really fresh, entertaining and engaging. However it may become a little bit dull after a while - I mean more like after completing the game and causing not to want to replay missions, rather than somewhere during campaign.

Stara, dobra, oldschoolowa przygodówka point & click. Albo ona się zestarzała, albo ja, bo już nie bawi mnie tak jak 20 lat temu, ale to nadal kawał klasyki, który warto znać :)

This sequel to most unusual platformer I've ever played keeps up to its predecessor. I've had great expectations towards it and they were fulfilled with excess.
The story kept me wondering what will come next. I never would guess - and believe me, I tried.
Overall, this game may really get into your... mind :)

Podsumowując: to dobra gra. Nie przełomowa, po prostu dobra. Najbardziej zaszkodził jej przesadny hype przed premierą, jednak wciąż warto w nią zagrać i odkryć, co ma do zaoferowania.

This is one of the most satisfying video game experiences I've ever had.
Everything works here well: the graphics are beautiful; the whole island is designed with every detail taken care of, and has such a mysterious feel that doesn't leave your head for long; the puzzles are distinct and rewarding - you never get a word of explanation, you just need to learn by example.
The game as a whole is such a food for thought that it will leave you looking at real world and life in quite different way.

The best story since Witcher 3. The best immersion since... ever? The most details I've ever seen. The most engaging protagonist I've ever controlled.

I loved the look & feel of this game from the very first sight, when I stumbled upon it somewhere on the Internet. It is really delightful for both ear and eye - the oldschool cartoon style is preserved very well, the hand-drawn characters and backgrounds are animated outstanding so it always feels like watching an old cartoon.
I had somewhat bad feeling about this game being as playable as good-looking, especially hearing that it is often compared to Dark Souls difficulty-wise on one hand, and that it is quite random and unjustful on the other. And I can confirm both of these - I've seen YOU DIED way too many times (820 before completing game 100%, to be exact), yet sometimes I felt a little cheated by the game - spawning things or shooting projectiles in so unpredictable way that it could have been avoided only if I got more luck and reflexes than skills.
And yet, this is most possibly the only thing I might accuse this game of - it is really solid, playable and enjoyable game in total.

After playing most of THPS games, I was quite disappointed by this one, because it discards all moves and possibilities added to the series in later installments. Also, it is not quite full remake, since not all levels and skaters from three first games (as the game deems to be remaking) are included. And, what is the weirdest, the moves added in specific games are available only on maps originating of the same game (like revert, which is available only in THPS3 maps).
I was happy abouth the achievements - and they are disappointing too. No too taxing, not even awarding for more extensive playing, like 100%-ing the game.
On the other hand, it's still a good game. Technologically up-to-date (as of year of release), playable and highly re-playable. Developer remade the basic principles of the series really well and I enjoyed every minute of playing. A must-have for anyone who hasn't met the series yet, while recurring players will feel themselves at home :)

Pros:
- steam achievements
- refreshed graphics (if you like it)

Cons:
- Worms Armaggedon was better in ANY way
- there are much less weapons
- only 4 worms
- much smaller maps
- weapon damage and blast radius is a joke
- physics was changed in inpredictable way
- refreshed graphics (if you think that looks of worms 2 series was great, like me)
- customisation is a joke (weapons, tools, game parameters)
- adding new sound banks suck (you need to click hundreds of times to import sound banks from previous installments)
- totally not worth the price - Worms Armageddon is way cheaper

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a well-narrated platformer with quite nice gameplay features. However it's a little fairytale-y, I'm not quite sure it's suitable for lower ages.
