But seriously, this game is pretty good on your own, then even better with friends. Get it if you want to scream at each other about boss kiting.

Let me just sort something out here. I'm NOT reviewing this as a game, because it simply doesn't attempt to be one. I'm reviewing this as a story, something to sit down and get really deeply involved in.

OK, without spoiling the story for you, (which every other review probably already has done) it deals with a modern love story. I'll leave you to find out what that means for yourself, because if you like a good story, this is the game for you. It delivers the story really fluidly and in some really involving ways. The whole house feels quite lived in (though I question why it's so clean), and the voice acting really adds to the experience.

My major gripe however, is the price.

I managed to get this for 10 dollars(Australian), which is a nice price for such a rich narrative. But, the non-discount price is outrageous. 20 USD? No amount of gameplay is worth a $20 price tag. If it's on special, I seriously reccomend picking it up though.

TL;DR The game is a great storytelling experience, but not worth buying unless it is discounted.

After finishing a massive marathon of the half-life series from half-life 1 to this, I have to say, all HL3 jokes aside, that Episode Three NEEDS to be made. Period. For a game made in 2007, this game surpasses most games made nowadays with its simply exeptional blend of gameplay and story. Can you imagine the possibilities with, say, the engine they're using on Black Mesa? To be honest, I don't think anyone (with the exception of REALLY picky people) would care if the graphics weren't updated if this level of gameplay and story quality continues. An outstanding piece, which I would happily pay 100 dollars to have the sequel of. Please valve. PLEASE.

When I'm cornered in it *Eee-exhales sharply-UUH* And it is $11.60 with the expansion packs AND has minecraft, zelda, meme and many more references in it. My eyeballs hurt while playing because i dont close them because if I do I know I'll die. Brutal? Incredibly. Disturbing? Very much so. Fun? Yes. God, yes.
Another masterpeice from the depths of the combined entities McMillen and Himsel. A must play.

10/10 My only criticism is that i would have liked MOAR CONTENT! But then again, that's what updates are for.
But, on to three of the FORTY BILLION PROS!
Firstly, it is insanely addictive, partly due to the quick loading times, even for my compacted-crisps computer.
Secondly, you can unlock all weapons just by playing, which is good for me since my high score is seven. No, really.
And finally thirdly, IT IS FREE! I mean, I would have happily paid two dollars for this, but it being free? *grunts in primal happiness*
Yep. In summary... *clears throat* GETTHISGAMENOWOMG!!!!!! Unless you value your free time of course, as this game will devour it.
