I think if you enjoy Paper Mario-esque RPGs, Born of Bread is as textbook Paper Mario as it gets. I enjoyed the story but the problem with this game is that the power creep that you have is ridiculously insane. If you do any sort of grinding on the default difficulty, you'll have all the upgrades you need before Part 4. The last two parts and the final boss were painfully easy.

There is a lot of comedy in this game, the writing is funny, and the characters are endearing for the most part. I would hope that the team could address the issues and have more partners in a sequel. Although I enjoyed it, I wouldn't pay full price for it; wait for it to go on sale.
