Elden Ring is the culmination of all From Software's previous souls-games.

I love how many memories I have of each area and exploring them all for the first time it truly felt like a massive adventure. I kept wanting to 100% every area cause that's how I usually play souls-games but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the scale of The Lands Between is just mind-blowing.

What stuck out to me was how much of the previous games i could recognize in certain areas like Stormveil Castle reminded me of Boletarian palace, Windmill village reminded me of Earthen Peak one of my favorite areas from DS2, Volcano Manor was literally Bloodborne and so many more.

And the quests/side-quests this time around feel really fleshed out and are a lot easier to follow than usually. I remember sometimes you could fail whole questlines just by missing a character in an area in like ds3 but in Elden Ring most questlines can be completed whenever you want. It's also like Covenants have been replaced by amazing questlines like Ranni/Tanith where it's just serving a covenant with a bunch of NPC friends.

The first time I did Ranni's quest after hearing about the curse-mark from Rogier and then having this almost Bethesda-like introduction to Iji, Blaidd and Seluvis was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. I'll never forget it and finding the lost city was just brilliant.

I can't even think of a single bad thing about the game.
I'm 200 hours now and only just got to NG+2. Buy it. Please
