Best game I have ever played.

It is a very bad game.
I played this game since OW1.. which itself was a much better game.
I'm not even going to mention the micro-transactions the game itself is trash.

You get penalised for leaving a QP game early. They 'supposedly' record in-game voice chat. They ban people for silly reasons. Which has just resulted in no one really talking while in games. Honestly, it just feels like a single player game now and your up against bots. It doesn't even feel like a competitive online game.
Also they ruined Comp. Matchmaking is all over the place, sometimes you get an even match up but the majority of the time your team will either completely dominate or get wiped out.

Also on the ranking system for OW2 is completely moronic you have no idea where you stand. You could win 5-0 and not rank up at all. Yet you can also go 5-7 and rank up.. it makes no sense to the average player. The previous system OW1 which told you how much SR you earned was far better.


So yea, I can not recommend this game. The gameplay is still somewhat fun but it is a very unrewarding game.

It is the only game on Steam to my knowledge that supports cross-play between a Dreamcast and PC so... what more do you want? Would be nice if it also ran on the Playstation 2 which is technically far superior compared to the Dreamcast but ah well.

But seriously. I've had no real issues with the game other then the ai scoring a few own goals which I cant fault much because I have also scored a fair few myself.

Have not played the Singleplayer.

As for the Multiplayer it is fun.
Probably the most fun mode is Heroes vs Villians. The animations for the Jedi are a bit meh but other than that it is really enjoyable.
The main negative of this thing is the game requiring the use of Origin. The match making is pretty crap as well. This game would of been great with dedicated servers.


I'd give it a 7.5/10

The game is a fun game for sure.
But it is time consuming. You have to put the hours in every day to make progress.
Also this is a game best played with friends or with a clan. Playing solo is often not feasible as its quite often on most servers to have clans of 10+ that can destroy your base in minutes.

On a technical standpoint. The game is a huge open world and its pretty good.
The load times do suck though, especially if you have an average/bad PC.
